Sufi Rohal Fakir (1734 - 1804)(Sindhi:صوفي روحل فقير ) was a saint-poet
and mystic, and exponent of sophistic philosophy. Sufi Rohal was the not only famous in poetry,but also his piety and spiritual voyage was acknowledged by the peoples including Hindus and Sikhs.He reached the heights of Sufism through blessings of Sufi-sage Shah Inayat- the famous martyr. In his poetry he expresses his message of giving up egoism and hatred and following the cult of love. and he was the progenitor of the famous kandri sharif tribes of the poets. Now his shrine at kandri sharif Taluka Rohri District Sukkur. Sufi Darya Khan Fakir the son of Sufi Rohal Fakir was also famous poet of Sindh and so many heirs of Sufi Rohal Fakir were famous saint and poet like Sufi Darya Khan Fakir, Sufi Nazar Ali Fakir, Sufi Ghulam Ali Fakir, Sufi Dur Mohammad Fakir, Sufi Taj Mohammad Fakir and Sufi Ayaz Mohammad Fakir are also famous poet and follower of Sufi Rohal Fakir. Sufi Taj Mohammad Fakir is present Mutawalli of Dargah,who has translated of Sufi Rohal Fakir's the Hindi and Farsi poetry into urdu language and published with the name as "Sartaj-e-Kandri" and other efforts for further publication of poetry Sufi Rohal Fakir is under process....
