Today, the ๐™๐™š๐™–๐™จ๐™ฉ ๐™ค๐™› ๐™‹๐™š๐™ฃ๐™ฉ๐™š๐™˜๐™ค๐™จ๐™ฉ was celebrated with great joy at St. James Catholic Church, Sargodha. The Holy Mass was led by Rev. Fr. David John, the Parish Priest. On this special day, the Catechism School beautifully decorated the altar and the church. The choir sang beautiful hymns, and the faithful took part in prayers with full devotion.

In his message, Rev. Fr. David John explained the meaning of the Holy Spirit and spoke about the coming of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles. He said that we can feel the Holy Spirit in our lives when we keep the gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit in our hearts. If we live with wisdom, patience, kindness, love, peace, and understanding, then the Holy Spirit is working within us.

He also shared that the Holy Spirit brings people together in love and unity. It teaches us to walk together, help one another, and stay united as one family in Christ, not to create hatred or division among people. The Feast of Pentecost reminds us to live with faith, love, and peace through the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

The 1st Day of the Bible Marathon, which began from St. Francis Xavier on 3rd May 2026, was held today at St. James Catholic Church, Sargodha. The day started with a beautiful and prayerful procession led by Catechist Younas Inayat, along with the Choir, Catechism School children, Church Management, and many faithful believers. Singing hymns of praise and devotion, the faithful walked reverently with the Holy Bible towards the Church.
Upon reaching the Church, Catechist Younas Inayat offered a special prayer for all the readers, asking God to bless them and guide everyone through His Holy Word.
The Books of the Bible read today included:
