Listening to the Qur’an attentively is also an act of worship.

Allah reminds us in the Qur’an:

“So when the Qur’an is recited, listen to it attentively and remain silent so that you may receive mercy.”
(Qur’an 7:204)

Whether the Qur’an is being recited in prayer, at home, or through audio, giving it our full attention shows respect for the words of Allah. Even listening quietly, with reflection and sincerity, carries great reward.
