17 May 2026 – Feast of the Ascension of the Lord

Today, the faithful of Holy Family Catholic Church gathered with joyful and prayerful hearts to celebrate the glorious Feast of the Ascension of the Lord. The Holy Mass was reverently led by our beloved Priest, Rev. Fr. Imtiaz Prakash, and assisted by our Catechist, Babu Sajid Amin Khokhar, as our parish community united in thanksgiving and praise to honor the Risen Christ who ascended into Heaven in glory.

On this blessed feast, we remember that after His Resurrection, our Lord Jesus Christ ascended to the right hand of the Father, completing His earthly mission and opening the gates of Heaven for all believers. The Feast of the Ascension reminds us that our true hope is in Heaven, where Christ has gone before us, preparing a place for His people.

In today’s Holy Gospel (Matthew 28:16–20), Jesus gives His disciples the great mission, saying: “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations.” Before ascending into Heaven, Christ assures His followers of His everlasting presence with the beautiful promise: “And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age.” Through these words, Jesus strengthens our faith and calls us to spread His message of love, peace, and salvation to the world.

The First Reading (Acts 1:1–11) beautifully recalls the moment of the Ascension, when Jesus was taken up before the eyes of His disciples, while angels reminded them that He would come again in glory. This feast invites us not only to look toward Heaven with hope, but also to continue Christ’s mission on earth with faith, courage, and unity.

As we continue this blessed Easter season, let us remain steadfast in prayer and prepare our hearts for the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. May we become true witnesses of Christ in our homes, workplaces, and communities, living according to His teachings each day.

May the Ascended Lord bless our parish abundantly, strengthen our families, guide our youth, and fill our hearts with heavenly peace and joy.

Amen.

On this blessed Mother’s Day, Holy Family Catholic Church joyfully honored and celebrated all mothers, remembering especially the loving and caring example of Mother Mary, the Mother of Jesus. Her faith, humility, sacrifice, and unconditional love continue to inspire every Christian family. Following her beautiful example of motherhood, we give thanks to all mothers who dedicate their lives with endless care, prayers, and sacrifices for their children and families. During the presentation ceremony, our beloved Rev. Fr. Imtiaz Prakash, Catechist Babu Sajid Amin Khokhar, and the Sisters of Mother Teresa presented flowers to the mothers of our parish, while the flowers were generously donated by the Holy Family Security Group as a sign of love, appreciation, and respect for all mothers in our community.

As we celebrate this special occasion, we offer our heartfelt prayers for all mothers around the world. May the Lord bless them with good health, happiness, strength, and peace. May Mother Mary continue to protect and guide them in every step of life, and may their homes always be filled with love, unity, and God’s grace. We also remember in our prayers all departed mothers, asking the Lord to grant them eternal rest and everlasting joy in His heavenly kingdom. Amen.

10 May 2026 – 6th Sunday of Easter | Bible Sunday

Today, the faithful of Holy Family Catholic Church gathered with joyful and prayerful hearts to celebrate the Holy Mass on the 6th Sunday of Easter, which was also observed as Bible Sunday. The Holy Mass was reverently led by our beloved Priest, Rev. Fr. Imtiaz Prakash, and assisted by our Catechist, Babu Sajid Amin Khokhar, as our parish community came together in thanksgiving and praise, seeking God’s blessings through His Holy Word.

On this blessed Bible Sunday, we are reminded of the importance of Sacred Scripture in our daily lives. The Word of God is a lamp for our feet and a light for our path, guiding us in faith, truth, and righteousness. Through the Bible, God continues to speak to His people, offering hope, wisdom, strength, and comfort.

In today’s Holy Gospel (John 14:15–21), Jesus lovingly tells His disciples, “If you love me, keep my commandments,” and promises that He will send the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, to remain with them forever. Christ assures us that we are never alone, for the Spirit of Truth walks with us, strengthens our faith, and helps us remain united with Him.

As we continue this blessed Easter season, let us deepen our love for God’s Word, reflect upon it daily, and live according to the teachings of Christ. May the Holy Bible continue to inspire our families, guide our youth, and strengthen our parish community in faith, unity, humility, and love.

May the Risen Lord fill our hearts with His peace, may the Holy Spirit guide us always, and may God bless our parish and protect our families abundantly.

Amen.

3 May 2026 – 5th Sunday of Easter

This Sunday, the faithful of Holy Family Catholic Church gathered with devout and prayerful hearts to celebrate the Holy Mass on the 5th Sunday of Easter. The Holy Mass was reverently led by our beloved Priest, Rev. Fr. Imtiaz Prakash, and assisted by our Catechist, Babu Sajid Amin Khokhar, as our parish community united in thanksgiving and praise, seeking God’s continued blessings and guidance.

The Gospel of this Sunday invites us to remain deeply connected to Christ, who is the true vine, and we are His branches. Through Him, we receive life, strength, and the grace to bear good fruit. In a world filled with challenges and distractions, we are reminded that apart from Him, we can do nothing, but with Him, our lives become fruitful and meaningful.

12 April 2026 – 2nd Sunday of Easter (Divine Mercy Sunday)

This Sunday, the faithful of Holy Family Catholic Church gathered with reverent and prayerful hearts to celebrate the Holy Mass on the 2nd Sunday of Easter, also known as Divine Mercy Sunday. The Holy Mass was prayerfully led by our beloved priest, Rev. Fr. Imtiaz Prakash, and assisted by our Catechist, Babu Sajid Amin Khokhar, as our parish community came together to thank the Lord and seek His mercy and grace in our lives.

The Gospel from John presented the appearance of the Risen Jesus to His disciples. Despite their fear, Jesus came among them, offering peace and showing them His wounds. He reminded them—and us—of the power of faith, especially in the words spoken to Thomas: “Blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe.” This message calls us to trust deeply in God’s mercy, even when we face doubt or uncertainty.

On this Divine Mercy Sunday, we are especially invited to reflect on the infinite mercy of God, who never tires of forgiving us and calling us back to Him. Jesus’ message of peace, forgiveness, and trust encourages us to become instruments of His mercy in our families, workplaces, and communities.

As we continue our Easter journey, may we open our hearts to receive God’s mercy and share it generously with others.

May the Lord bless our parish, strengthen our families, and guide us always on the path of faith, hope, and love. ✨🙏
