19 July 2026 – 16th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Today, the faithful of Holy Family Catholic Church gathered with joyful and prayerful hearts to celebrate the Holy Mass on the 16th Sunday in Ordinary Time. The Holy Mass was reverently led by our beloved Priest, Rev. Fr. Imtiaz Parkash, and assisted by our Catechist, Babu Sajid Amin Khokhar.

In today’s Holy Gospel (Matthew 13:24–43), Jesus shared the Parable of the Weeds among the Wheat, along with the parables of the mustard seed and the yeast. He taught that the Kingdom of Heaven is like a field where good seed was sown, but during the night an enemy planted weeds among the wheat. When the servants wanted to pull out the weeds immediately, the master instructed them to let both grow together until the harvest, so that the wheat would not be harmed. Jesus later explained that the good seed represents the children of the Kingdom, the weeds represent those who choose evil, the enemy is the devil, and the harvest symbolizes the end of the age, when God will judge with perfect justice. Through the parables of the mustard seed and the yeast, Jesus also revealed that although the Kingdom of God may begin small and hidden, it continues to grow and transform the world through God's grace.

Through this Gospel, we are reminded to remain faithful and patient, trusting in God's perfect wisdom and timing. Rather than judging others, we are called to examine our own hearts, grow in holiness, and allow God's grace to bear good fruit in our lives. Even in a world where good and evil exist side by side, we are encouraged to remain steadfast in faith, knowing that God's justice, mercy, and love will ultimately prevail.

May the Lord grant us the grace to be like the good wheat, rooted firmly in His love and faithfully bearing fruits of righteousness. May He help us to trust in His plan, remain patient in times of trial, and become living witnesses of His Kingdom through our words and actions.

May the Holy Family of Nazareth intercede for all our families, and may we continue to grow in faith, hope, and love.

12 July 2026 – 15th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Today, the faithful of Holy Family Catholic Church gathered with joyful and prayerful hearts to celebrate the Holy Mass on the 15th Sunday in Ordinary Time. The Holy Mass was reverently led by our beloved Priest, Rev. Fr. Imtiaz Parkash, and assisted by our Catechist, Babu Sajid Amin Khokhar.

In today’s Holy Gospel (Matthew 13:1–23), Jesus shared the Parable of the Sower, teaching that the Word of God is like seed scattered on different kinds of soil. Some seed fell on the path and was eaten by birds, some fell on rocky ground where it quickly withered, some fell among thorns and was choked, while other seed fell on rich soil and produced an abundant harvest. Through this parable, Jesus explained that the seed represents the Word of God, and the different soils symbolize the condition of our hearts. Those who receive God's Word with faith, understand it, and remain steadfast despite trials are like the good soil, bearing fruit in abundance for the Kingdom of God.

Through this Gospel, we are reminded to prepare our hearts to receive God's Word with faith, humility, and perseverance. We are called to remove the obstacles of sin, doubt, distractions, and worldly worries that prevent His message from taking root within us. By listening attentively to the Lord and living according to His teachings, we become faithful disciples who bear the fruits of love, kindness, mercy, and holiness in our daily lives.

May the Lord bless us with hearts that are open and fertile for His Word. May He strengthen us to remain faithful in every season of life, grow in His grace, and bear abundant fruit through our words and actions for the glory of His Kingdom.

May the Holy Family of Nazareth intercede for all our families, and may we continue to grow in faith, hope, and love.

5 July 2026 – 14th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Today, the faithful of Holy Family Catholic Church gathered with joyful and prayerful hearts to celebrate the Holy Mass on the 14th Sunday in Ordinary Time. The Holy Mass was reverently led by our beloved Priest, Rev. Fr. Imtiaz Parkash, and assisted by our Catechist, Babu Sajid Amin Khokhar.

In today’s Holy Gospel (Matthew 11:25–30), Jesus offered a beautiful invitation to all who are weary and burdened, saying, “Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest.” He praised the Father for revealing the mysteries of His Kingdom to the humble and childlike rather than to the wise and learned. Jesus also called His followers to take His yoke upon themselves and learn from Him, for He is gentle and humble of heart. In Him, we find true rest, peace, and renewed strength for our souls.

Through this Gospel, we are reminded that Christ is always ready to welcome us with compassion, especially in moments of struggle, worry, and hardship. He invites us to place our trust in Him, to walk in humility, and to allow His love to guide our lives. By surrendering our burdens to the Lord and following His example of gentleness and mercy, we discover lasting peace and the strength to face every challenge with faith and hope.

May the Lord grant us the grace to seek Him in every difficulty, to trust in His loving care, and to find comfort in His presence. May we always walk faithfully with Christ, carrying His yoke with joy and sharing His love, kindness, and peace with everyone we meet.

Today, the faithful of Holy Family Catholic Church gathered with joyful and prayerful hearts to celebrate the Holy Mass on the 13th Sunday in Ordinary Time. The Holy Mass was reverently led by our beloved visitor Priest, Rev. Fr. Sajjad Manzoor, and assisted by our Catechist, Babu Sajid Amin Khokhar.

In today’s Holy Gospel (Matthew 10:37–42), Jesus called His disciples to place Him above all else and to follow Him with wholehearted faith. He reminded them that true discipleship requires sacrifice, saying, “Whoever does not take up his cross and follow me is not worthy of me.” Jesus also taught that whoever loses his life for His sake will find it, and that even the smallest act of kindness, such as giving a cup of cold water to one of His little ones, will never go unrewarded by God.

Through this Gospel, we are reminded that following Christ demands commitment, courage, and selfless love. Jesus invites us to carry our daily crosses with faith, to put Him at the center of our lives, and to serve others with humility and generosity. Every act of love and compassion done in His name becomes a witness to the Gospel and brings us closer to God's Kingdom.

May the Lord grant us the strength to remain faithful in every circumstance, to embrace our crosses with hope, and to live as true disciples of Christ through love, service, and unwavering faith.

Today, the faithful of Holy Family Catholic Church gathered with grateful and prayerful hearts to celebrate Father’s Day, giving thanks to God for the invaluable gift of fathers, grandfathers, and father figures who lovingly guide and support their families.

On this special day, we honor all fathers for their dedication, sacrifice, hard work, and unwavering love. Through their care and commitment, they reflect the image of our Heavenly Father, providing strength, protection, wisdom, and encouragement to those entrusted to them.

As we celebrate Father’s Day, we pray that God may continue to bless all fathers with good health, wisdom, patience, and abundant grace. May they remain steadfast in faith and be shining examples of love, responsibility, and compassion within their homes and communities.

We also remember in our prayers all fathers who have gone before us into eternal life. May the Lord grant them everlasting peace and reward them for their love and sacrifices.

Let us thank God for the gift of fatherhood and ask Him to strengthen every father in his sacred vocation of nurturing and guiding their families according to His holy will.

May the Holy Family of Nazareth intercede for all fathers and families, and may God’s blessings be upon them today and always.
