Humility is:

The quality of being modest, meek, and not proud.

It means recognizing our dependence on God and valuing others above ourselves (Philippians 2:3).

Humility is not weakness, but strength under control — submitting our will to God’s will.

Biblical Definition:
“Humility is an attitude of the heart that acknowledges God as supreme, others as valuable, and self as servant.”

2. Key Bible Verses about Humility

Micah 6:8 – “He has shown you, O man, what is good… to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with your God.”

James 4:6 – “God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble.”

Proverbs 22:4 – “By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, honor, and life.”

1 Peter 5:6 – “Humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time.”

Philippians 2:3–4 – “Do nothing out of selfish ambition… but in humility consider others better than yourselves.”

Matthew 23:12 – “Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.”

3. Examples of Humility in the Bible
A. Jesus Christ – The Perfect Example

Philippians 2:5–8 – Jesus humbled Himself, taking the form of a servant, becoming obedient to death on a cross.

John 13:4–5 – Jesus washed His disciples’ feet — an act of total servanthood.

Matthew 11:29 – “I am gentle and humble in heart.”

B. Moses

Numbers 12:3 – “Now the man Moses was very humble, more than all men on the face of the earth.”

Though he led millions, he depended completely on God and never claimed personal glory.

C. David

When Saul pursued him, David refused to kill him though he had the chance (1 Samuel 24:4–7).

He humbled himself before God after sinning with Bathsheba (Psalm 51).

D. Mary, the Mother of Jesus

Luke 1:38 – “Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word.”

Her humility allowed God to use her for His greatest purpose.

E. Daniel

Though wise and respected, Daniel prayed with fasting and repentance for his nation (Daniel 9:3–5).

He gave glory to God for all revelations (Daniel 2:30).

F. John the Baptist

John 3:30 – “He must increase, but I must decrease.”

He humbled himself before Christ and pointed others to Him, not to himself.

G. The Centurion

Matthew 8:8 – “Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof.”

His humility moved Jesus to marvel at his faith.

H. The Prodigal Son

Luke 15:18–19 – “I am no longer worthy to be called your son.”

His humble repentance brought forgiveness and restoration.

I. The Tax Collector

Luke 18:13 – “God, be merciful to me, a sinner!”

His humble prayer was accepted while the proud Pharisee was rejected.

J. Apostle Paul

1 Corinthians 15:9 – “I am the least of the apostles.”

Despite his calling, he called himself a servant and continually glorified Christ, not himself.

4. Characteristics of a Humble Person

Submits to God’s will

Gives credit to God

Serves others willingly

Repents quickly when wrong

Accepts correction

Does not seek attention or praise

Forgives easily

Listens more than speaks

5. Rewards of Humility

Grace and Favor: James 4:6

Exaltation by God: 1 Peter 5:6

Wisdom: Proverbs 11:2

Honor: Proverbs 18:12

Rest for the Soul: Matthew 11:29

6. Summary Thought

“True humility is not thinking less of yourself, but thinking of yourself less — and thinking more of God.”

The Purpose of Man’s Life
1. Introduction

Question: Why did God create man?

Many people live without knowing their divine purpose.

Our purpose is not self-defined but God-defined — rooted in His eternal plan.

Key Text: John 17:3 – “And this is life eternal, that they might know Thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom Thou hast sent.”

2. The Origin of Man’s Purpose

Genesis 1:26–28 – Man created in God’s image and likeness.

God gave man dominion, relationship, and responsibility.

Purpose began with intimacy (fellowship) and representation (stewardship).

Man was made to reflect God’s character and glory on earth.

3. Relationship: Knowing God as Life’s Core Purpose

Life’s highest goal: to know God personally (John 17:3).

Not just knowledge about God, but experiential relationship with Him.

Adam walked with God before he worked for God.

Our first calling: communion, not performance.

4. Representation: Living as God’s Image on Earth

Man reflects God’s nature through:

Righteous living (Ephesians 4:24)

Love and mercy (Matthew 5:7, John 13:34)

Creative and moral authority (Genesis 2:15)

Purpose involves manifesting God’s kingdom in our daily lives.

5. Obedience and Worship as Purpose Fulfillment

Ecclesiastes 12:13: “Fear God and keep His commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.”

Worship is more than singing — it’s living in obedience and holiness.

Through obedience, man fulfills divine intention.

6. The Fall and the Lost Purpose

Sin distorted man’s purpose — relationship broken, image marred.

Man began seeking self-centered goals instead of God’s glory.

Romans 3:23 – “All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”

Purpose was lost, but not destroyed — redemption restores it.

7. Restoration of Purpose Through Christ

Jesus came to restore man’s fellowship and divine image.

2 Corinthians 5:17 – “If any man be in Christ, he is a new creation.”

Through salvation, we are reconnected to the original design:

Knowing God

Walking in His will

Reflecting His glory

8. Eternal Purpose and Kingdom Destiny

Our ultimate destiny: to glorify God and enjoy Him forever.

Revelation 21–22 – Man restored in God’s presence eternally.

The purpose of life leads to eternal fellowship, not temporal success.

True fulfillment is found only when life aligns with God’s eternal plan.

Conclusion

Man’s purpose is to know God, reflect His image, obey His will, and glorify His name.

Life outside of this purpose is meaningless.

True life begins when we surrender to God’s design through Jesus Christ.

“The Scandal of Revival: Reclaiming the Father's Heart”
🎙️ Opening Statement
Revival is not neat. It’s not polite. It’s not choreographed. It’s messy, merciful, and radical—and it offends our self-righteous filters.

🧭 I. The Misrepresentation of Jesus in the House of God
- Scripture Anchor: Matthew 23:13–14, Luke 15:1–2
- Jesus welcomed the broken, while the religious elite gatekept the door.
- Modern church culture often places style over substance, gatekeeping over grace.
Example:
- Hats, shoulders, clothing—and we’ve made garments a greater issue than the garment of praise.
- External correction without internal welcome creates trauma, not transformation.
Activation Prompt:
- Who have we silently rejected with our stares and standards?

🔥 II. Revival Welcomes the Unfiltered
- Scripture Anchor: John 4 (Woman at the Well), Mark 5 (Demonized Man)
- The net cast by the Spirit does not filter by race, background, or bo***ge.
Prophetic Truth:
- Jesus met a pr******te at the well, a tax collector at his table, and a thief on the cross.
- Today’s revival will include former addicts, gang leaders, victims—and yes, the visibly demonized.
Challenge:
- If your gospel excludes the very ones Jesus embraced, you’re not preaching His gospel.

💔 III. The Church's Hidden Demons
- Scripture Anchor: Matthew 7:3–5, James 3:9–10
- Demonized doesn’t only mean foaming at the mouth. It can mean pride, clicks, curses, unforgiveness.
Exhortation:
- Church hurt isn’t just caused by “outsiders.” It’s fermented inside pews where judgment replaces compassion.
Activation Prompt:
- Repent of silent curses: gossip, spiritual elitism, click-building, bitterness.

🧎‍♂️ IV. Why We Don’t Evangelize—The Disconnect
- Scripture Anchor: Luke 10:2, Romans 10:14
- Evangelism requires proximity to pain. Most believers won’t go because they’re afraid to get dirty.
Truth Bomb:
We lost connection with the Father’s heart, so we don’t carry it into our streets.

Reflection:
- Can you name the addicts, the lost, the wandering that your ministry is actively pursuing?

⚡ V. Do We Still Believe in Power?
- Scripture Anchor: Isaiah 58:6, Acts 1:8
- The power of God isn’t just for preaching—it’s for breaking chains.
Diagnosis:
- Are our cities different because of our churches?
- Is our fruit transformation—or tradition?
Activation Prompt:
- Lay hands on your city map. Ask: Where must revival touch next?

🪜 Closing Challenge: Revival Will Offend You First
Before revival reaches them, it must wreck our pride. Before we heal others, we must confront our hypocrisy. The true outpouring smells like sheep—not perfume.

📜 Sermon Title: From Awakening to Outpouring: Heaven’s Prophetic Roadmap
🎯 Opening Declaration
“God is not random—He moves in sequence. There is a roadmap between the trumpet blast of awakening and the river flow of revival. Today, we follow it.”

1️⃣ Awakening – The Trumpet of Disruption
- Text: Joel 2:1, Romans 13:11
- Prophetic Insight: Awakenings start not with comfort, but with disruption—holy urgency shakes us out of routine.
- Symbol: 🔊 Trumpet blast
- Example: Samuel hears God's voice in the night (1 Samuel 3)
- Challenge: Are you spiritually asleep while destiny is knocking?

2️⃣ Preparation – Clearing the Ground
- Text: Hosea 10:12, Isaiah 40:3
- Prophetic Insight: God never sends rain where soil remains untouched.
- Symbol: 🌿 Plow & wilderness path
- Example: John the Baptist preparing hearts in the desert (Luke 3:4)
- Challenge: What distractions must be uprooted for God to move freely in your life or region?

3️⃣ Repentance – Return to the Altar
- Text: Joel 2:12–13, Psalm 51
- Prophetic Insight: Revival is birthed at altars soaked in tears—not platforms soaked in performance.
- Symbol: 🕯️ Broken altar
- Example: David’s raw repentance after Bathsheba (Psalm 51)
- Challenge: What hidden places must be surrendered for full restoration?

4️⃣ Consecration – Fire on the Offering
- Text: Joshua 3:5, Romans 12:1
- Prophetic Insight: God does not bless mixture. Consecration is the invitation to glory.
- Symbol: 🔥 Holy fire
- Example: Isaiah’s cleansing and commissioning in the throne room (Isaiah 6)
- Challenge: What areas of your life are still “common” that God is calling to set apart?

5️⃣ Hunger & Intercession – The Empty Vessel
- Text: Habakkuk 3:2, Acts 1:14
- Prophetic Insight: Revival is birthed by persistent, unified yearning.
- Symbol: 🫗 Empty vessel
- Example: Hannah’s cry for a son birthed prophetic legacy (1 Samuel 1)
- Challenge: Will you pray past comfort into birthing breakthrough?

6️⃣ Outpouring – Fire Falls, River Flows
- Text: Acts 2, Isaiah 64:1
- Prophetic Insight: When preparation is complete, heaven responds with signs, wonders, and transformation.
- Symbol: 🔥🌊 Flame & river
- Example: Pentecost—3,000 saved, tongues released, boldness unleashed (Acts 2)
- Challenge: Are you positioned and prepared for divine interruption?

7️⃣ Commissioning – Sent Ones Rise
- Text: Isaiah 6:8, Matthew 28:19
- Prophetic Insight: Revival is not the end—it’s the beginning of multiplication.
- Symbol: 📜 Open scroll
- Example: Paul & Barnabas released into global mission (Acts 13:2–3)
- Challenge: What legacy is God asking you to build, send, and reproduce?

🙏 Closing Call to Activation
“From waking to weeping, from fire to flood—this is your roadmap. Don’t just hear it. Walk it.”

The Ten Commandments – God’s Covenant of Love and Holiness
1. Introduction
The Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:1–17; Deuteronomy 5:6–21) form the foundation of God’s moral law.

Given by God at Mount Sinai to Israel, they reveal His holy character and guide His people in living rightly.

These commandments are not mere rules but a covenant relationship between God and His people.
Key Verse: “I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bo***ge” (Exodus 20:2).

Before giving the commandments, God reminds them of His grace and deliverance.

2. Why the Ten Commandments Are Important
Reveal God’s Character – His holiness, justice, and love.

Set Moral Boundaries – Show us how to live in harmony with God and others.

Expose Sin – Help us see our need for a Savior (Romans 3:20).

Guide Christian Living – Teach us how to love God and neighbor (Matthew 22:37–40).

3. Division of the Commandments
First Four Commandments: Our relationship with God (vertical relationship).

Last Six Commandments: Our relationship with others (horizontal relationship).

4. The Commandments Explained
1st Commandment: “You shall have no other gods before Me” (Ex. 20:3)
God alone deserves worship.

Idolatry can be anything (money, success, relationships) we place above God.

2nd Commandment: “You shall not make for yourself a carved image…” (Ex. 20:4–6)
God is Spirit; He cannot be limited to images.

Warns against worshiping the creation instead of the Creator.

3rd Commandment: “You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain” (Ex. 20:7)
Respect God’s name in speech, actions, and promises.

Misusing God’s name dishonors Him.

4th Commandment: “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy” (Ex. 20:8–11)
Sabbath is a day of rest and worship, recognizing God as Creator and Redeemer.

Rest is God’s gift, pointing to the ultimate rest we find in Christ (Hebrews 4:9–10).

5th Commandment: “Honor your father and your mother” (Ex. 20:12)
Respect and obey parents as God’s representatives in the family.

First commandment with a promise: long life and blessing.

6th Commandment: “You shall not murder” (Ex. 20:13)
Protect the sanctity of life.

Jesus deepens this by forbidding anger and hatred (Matthew 5:21–22).

7th Commandment: “You shall not commit adultery” (Ex. 20:14)
Be faithful in marriage; guard purity in relationships.

Jesus includes lustful thoughts as breaking this command (Matthew 5:28).

8th Commandment: “You shall not steal” (Ex. 20:15)
Respect others’ property and resources.

Includes honesty in work, business, and stewardship.

9th Commandment: “You shall not bear false witness” (Ex. 20:16)
Speak truthfully; avoid lies, slander, and gossip.

God is truth; His people must reflect that.

10th Commandment: “You shall not covet…” (Ex. 20:17)
Deals with the heart’s desires.

Coveting leads to discontentment and other sins.

Cultivate gratitude and trust in God’s provision.

5. Jesus and the Ten Commandments
Jesus summarized the commandments:

Love God with all your heart, soul, and mind (first four commandments).

Love your neighbor as yourself (last six commandments) (Matthew 22:37–40).

The commandments still guide us, but we obey through the power of the Holy Spirit, not legalism.

6. Application for Today
Evaluate your heart – Which commandments are hardest for you?

Rely on Christ’s grace – He fulfilled the law and offers forgiveness (Romans 8:3–4).

Live as God’s witness – Show God’s character in how you treat Him and others.

Teach the next generation – Deuteronomy 6:6–7 commands parents to pass on God’s law.

7. Conclusion
The Ten Commandments are not a burden but a blessing.

They show how God wants us to live in freedom, holiness, and love.

Jesus Christ empowers us to live out God’s law through His Spirit.

Closing Verse: “For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome” (1 John 5:3).

Closing Prayer:
"Lord, thank You for giving us Your commandments as a guide to love You and others. Forgive us when we fall short and give us strength through the Holy Spirit to live holy lives for Your glory. Amen."

30/07/2025

“I want to apologize for anyone that came searching for Jesus, but you were confronted for wearing a hat in the building.

I want to apologize if you are a young lady who tried to come to Jesus but the mothers jumped on you for your shoulders showing.

Please accept my apology if you were coming to church to get free from addiction but you were stopped at the door because of your appearance.

Forgive us if you were a pr******te coming for deliverance right after a shift but instead of being met with Gods love you were not welcome.

The truth is we pray for revival, but don't realize that we can’t pick and choose the type of people the Spirit draws. We can’t choose the color of skin, the attire, or the situation or struggle they are in.

When Revival comes a great net is cast and often people who are demonized will come.

Let's not forget many sitting in church are still demonized. Your demon of self righteousness or unforgivness is not any better.

Many manifest anytime someone leaves their church when they curse them or form clicks against people.

Most are going to be offended when revival comes. This is also why most believers don't ever evangelize. We lost connection to the father’s heart.

The power of God can break addictions and destroy yokes.

Do we really believe that? Have we looked at our cities lately? You tell me by the fruit.

Are we transforming our cities with our current mindset and does it actually continue the ministry of Jesus toward sinners, unlearned, and the immature?”
