Hadith (Abu Dāwūd, Ahmad – authentic):

A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said:

“I made a vow to sacrifice camels at Buwānah.”

The Prophet ﷺ asked:

“Was there an idol worshipped there in the time of Jāhiliyyah?”
He said: No.

“Was there any festival of theirs held there?”
He said: No.

So the Prophet ﷺ said:

“Fulfil your vow, for there is no fulfilment of a vow involving disobedience to Allah.
