Feast of St Clare Celebrated at St Clare Parish, Gulberg, Lahore
Lahore, 11 August 2026: The Feast of St Clare of Assisi was celebrated with great devotion, joy, and spiritual enthusiasm at St Clare Parish, Gulberg, Lahore. A solemn Holy Mass was celebrated on this special occasion, with a large number of parishioners participating in prayer and thanksgiving.
The Holy Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr Patrick Samuel OFM Cap. In his homily, he reflected on the life and spirituality of St Clare, highlighting her deep faith, humility, love for Christ, dedication to prayer, and commitment to serving others. He encouraged the faithful to follow St Clare’s example and remain steadfast in faith and love.
A large number of parishioners participated in the Holy Mass with devotion. The celebration brought the parish community together in prayer, fellowship, and thanksgiving.
The Franciscan Sisters also participated in the celebration, adding to the spiritual joy and Franciscan character of the occasion.
Following the Holy Mass, a cake-cutting ceremony was held. The parishioners gathered together in a joyful atmosphere, sharing fellowship and extending greetings to one another on the Feast of St Clare.
