Statement of Faith
1: The sixty six books of the Bible are verbally inspired Word of God and are in-errant, infallible, perfect and supreme authority in matters of faith and practice.
2: God is the Holy Creator, Sustainer and supreme Ruler of the Universe, and He alone is worthy of all honour and worship.
3: The three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, of the Trinity are the same in essen
ce, equal in attributes and in every Divine Perfection.
4: The Lord Jesus Christ, the Absolute Deity & the Perfect God, was born into this world through the miraculous virgin birth.
5: The universe and mankind were created in six human days exactly according to the account given in the Book of Genesis.
6: Christ Jesus died a sacrificial and substitutionary death on the cross of Calvary to atone for our sins through the shedding of His Precious Blood.
7: He rose from the dead the third day, ascended to Heaven and sits at the right hand of the Father as our Intercessor.
8: Jesus will return to earth in bodily form to reign for a millennium following the tribulation, which is preceded by the rapture of the Bride of Christ.
9: The total and universal depravity of all mankind has rendered him helpless and hopeless of salvation by his own efforts.
10: The redemption and salvation of the sinner by Grace alone through faith in the crucifixion, burial and resurrection of Christ Jesus.
11: Regeneration is the absolute necessity for salvation, that is, a sinner must be born again to have eternal life. New birth is instantaneous and not a process.
12: Every born again believer should be filled with the Spirit in order to witness for Christ, but we repudiate the claims of the modern day charismatic tongues and healing movement. The in-dwelling of the Holy Spirit shows itself not through His gifts but through His fruits.
13: The born again believers are perfectly preserved for eternal life by the Holy Spirit and can never lose their salvation.
14: In the personality, Deity and power of the Holy Spirit of God, and in the necessity and efficiency of His work in the Enlightenment, Regeneration, Sanctification, Enduement, Resurrection and Glorification of each believer.
15: We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead, both of the just and the unjust. The believers will pass into eternal glory, and the wicked into endless torment, which is hell.
16: Hell is a literal place and a seat of eternal punishment. It is not just alienation from God or the annihilation of the wicked.
17: The Devil is a reality and a personality, who along with a multitude of rebel angels fell from Heaven to become an enemy of mankind. He and his fallen angels will ultimately be cast into the lake of fire to be tormented eternally.
18: All born again believers should obey the Lord in water baptism by immersion, and that baptism is for born again believers only; baptism is a local Church ordinance has no saving efficacy, but rather is an act of loving obedience towards God.
19: Every new born baptized believer has the privilege and responsibility of partaking in the communion service with others of God’s people who walk in the light and in obedience to the word of God; that the bread and wine are symbols only; that partaking of these has no saving efficacy, but rather is a commemoration of the death of Christ.
20: A truly Scriptural Church is a local congregation of born again believers, baptized scripturally by immersion, voluntarily associated together in fellowship for the purpose of edifying one another and preaching the Gospel, observing the ordinances of Christ (Baptism & Lord’s Supper), governed by His Word, being otherwise entirely self-governing and self-supporting, acknowledging only one heads, the Lord Jesus C
