INTRODUCTION
Ash Wednesday is a holy day of prayer and fasting in many Pakistani, Indian, Asian and Western Christian denominations. It is preceded by Shrove Tuesday (Shrove Tuesday is the final day of Carnival or Shrovetide, marking the end of pre-Lent. Lent begins the following day with Ash Wednesday.) and marks the first day of Lent, the six weeks of penitence before Easter.
ACTIVITIES
Ash Wednesday is observed by Catholics, Lutherans, Moravians, Anglicans, Methodists, Nazarenes, as well as by some churches in the Reformed tradition, including certain Congregationalist, Continental Reformed, and Presbyterian churches. Many Christians attend special Ash Wednesday church services, at which churchgoers receive ash on their foreheads. Ash Wednesday derives its name from this practice, in which the placement of ashes is accompanied by the words, "Repent, and believe in the Gospel" or the dictum "Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return.The ashes are prepared by burning palm leaves from the previous year's Palm Sunday celebrations.Ash Wednesday is always 46 days before Easter. Easter is determined as the Sunday following the first full moon that happens on or after the March equinox, which is always 21 March in the Christian Church calendars.

Adhering to the Pentecostal faith, the Christ Evangelical Church'S LARGE family also celebrates Shrove Wednesday with spiritual fervor every year. This year too, not only the season of fasting will start from Ash Wednesday, but on every Friday, the church will observe FASTING and break the fast together after worship and prayers. I believe that this season of fasting will be the reason for the restoration of your spiritual, social, physical and economic life.

SERIES GOD'S AMAZING PROMISES – BENEFITS ON TRUSTING GOD’S PROMISES
Today, Rev. Dr. Younas Rehmat delivered a sermon from the ongoing series "GOD'S AMAZING PROMISES: the subject was - BENEFITS ON TRUSTING GOD’S PROMISES”.
Hebrews 10:35-36 King James Version (KJV) Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
It is also important to remember that God is true and does not go back on His words. You just need to have faith. One interesting thing about faith is that we Christians believe in a God who cannot be seen but through many works His presence is revealed.

Today's sermon taught about God's promises to Joshua with Moses. Lords has promised with Moses to lead his nation towards the promise land but when died on the way Joshua took over HIS leadership as during 40 years he has seen and experienced the fulfillment of GOD’s promises. Though that was the most difficult tasks of that time to lead such a nation... First hurdle was river Jordan.
He accepted the offer but did not look at the difficulties. If we want to advance in services, we have to take risks
Joshua relied on God. Hebrews 11:6 tells us about dependence on God

SERIES GOD'S PROMISES - GENEROSITY
Today, Rev. Dr. Younas Rehmat delivered a sermon from the ongoing series "GOD'S PROMISES: the subject was - GENEROSITY".
God has given us so much. Call our existence sky, earth, trees, water, air, plants, vegetables, meat, sunshine and many more. That’s why God wants us to be like Him and be givers. The WORD says in Psalms 119:50 "My comfort in my suffering is this: Your promise preserves my life." It is also important to remember that God's gifts are conditional and unconditional. The most important thing to say goodbye is to give generously. It is said in the Gospel of John 1:16, "And of his fullness have all we received, and grace for grace." It is not so easy but it is very difficult, there is a bad intention in it; For example, the widow's two pennies for purity of intention and free from greed. That is, our style of giving Cools the wrath of God. Let's learn about the nine rewards of supplication or charity.
1. Giving Produces Good Results
