A thought for the day.
THE REAL LIFE OF A BELIEVER.

The real life of a believer is far from being sinless, or perfect. Rather its the exact opposite because the enemy tempts those who are following the narrow path of Christ. We take Christianity so lightly since Jesus paid it all but we still have to carry our cross till it is finished.
Carry our cross even though it hurts.
-When people hurt us or stab our backs, we could do the same but we forgive, shed a tear and move towards Christ, we just carried our cross.
-We find temptation is easier to come to us since devil is working overtime because he knows we are followers of Christ, its so hard to say no to the desires of the flesh, lust of the eye, greed of the world but every time we shed a tear, and move towards Christ and not the sins, We carry our cross.
-When we work harder than others but receive less than others, remember, our reward is greater in heaven, we shed a tear, and move towards Christ, we carry our cross .
Its all about carrying the Cross like a good soldier and that's how we follow Christ.
Don't be shy to shed a tear in God’s presence, keep carrying that Cross like Jesus did, keep fighting the good fight SOLDIERS until IT IS FINISHED.

Adultery, scandals, divorce and an explosive ministry, the world has never recovered from...

They drove me away from the Church Because I was Divorced.
Kathryn Kuhlman

In one occasion, Kathryn Kuhlman was preaching in a church and someone informed the pastor that she was divorced which led the pastor walking up to the front and grabbing the microphone from her and apologizing to the crowd for having a “false prophet” preaching, she was escorted by the ushers out of the church and ran off town. SHE WEPT!

On a rare occasion where Kathryn would address her past she made this comment about her peers during her crisis. “... You know sometimes it’s a thousand times easier to die physically than to keep on living. You see, the Lord forgives, but people don’t.

They’ll drive it in, and they’ll drive it in, and they’ll drive it in, and they’ll drive it in. And they’ll pierce your heart, and they’ll pierce it clear through.

Kathryn Kuhlman Died! This was her popular phrase, she would go on to say, it was the price she paid for the glory.

Kathryn remembers vividly the days she died to and carried Gods glory.
It’s much easier to die than to live, death to the flesh and the opinions of this world, that very day at the end of that dead-end street is when I died at four, on a Saturday afternoon.
Today, I feel it was part of God’s perfect will for my life.”

For Kathryn Kuhlman, Her greatest anointing began to manifest from 49-59 years.
In those days, she walked past people and they collapsed to the floor because of the heavy presence of the Holyspirit she carried. Healings and strange miracles, never before recorded accompanied her ministry till death.
Even through Kathryn Kuhlman was out of public ministry for almost 8 years, When she hit the platform again, the glory of the latter house surpassed the former.
Suddenly all the churches that attacked her because of her Adultery and divorce, opened their arms wide like they weren’t the ones that almost drove her into su***de.
The anointing was always there. All it needed was activation and constant use. God’s grace is irreversible. He does not change His mind about what He gives, He’s not two-faced. Your perspective or mindset about Him may change, but he does not.
So many have may have left ministry because of one thing or the other, you may have stopped pastoring, holding meetings or whatever form of ministry because of pressures, financial, marital or personal issues, but know that God uses these pressures to bring out His best in us.
Apostle Paul says; we are pressed on every side but not crushed, cast down but not destroyed. The promise always comes after the process.
From Kathryn’s example, We have learnt that no one is far too gone, no one is out of God’s use, and instead of driving the word of God against people that are under pressure, let’s help them heal. Let’s get them back on track. Handle that brother or sister with care. God does not just want some individual spiritual giants, He wants to build His body! God is not just interested in your denomination, He wants to build His Church!
HER LAST MEETING....
As everyone left the auditorium, Kathryn walked quietly to the end of the stage. She raised her head and slowly scanned the balcony, as if she was gazing at every seat. It seemed like an eternity. Then, Kathryn dropped her gaze to the second balcony, following every row and every seat with her eyes. Then, she looked at the ground floor, studying every seat.35
We can only imagine what was going through Kathryn's mind, the memories, the victories, the healings, the laughter, and the tears. Was it possible that Kathryn knew she would never return to the platform? Was it possible that, at that moment, she said good-bye to her earthly ministry?
In just a little over three weeks from that November date, Kathryn lay dying in the Hillcrest Medical Center of Tulsa, Oklahoma, after open-heart surgery.

Sometimes following Jesus can take you directly into the heart of a storm – into the heart of hopelessness. That’s what happened to Jesus’ disciples on the Sea of Galilee. They were simply doing what they had been told to do and wound up in one of the worst nights of their lives. We read, “Immediately He made the disciples get into the boat and go ahead of Him to the other side … ” (Matthew 14:22).

Did you catch that? Jesus made them get into the boat. The disciples were being obedient. They were reading their Bible, listening to the Word, and doing what it said. But then it happened: Winds pounded their boat threatening to destroy them. The Scripture says, “But the boat was already a long distance from the land, battered by the waves…” (Matthew 14:24).

Have you ever felt blown about or battered in the middle of doing exactly what you believe God told you to do? I know I have. I wish I could tell you that following Jesus means you will never have to face any storms. I wish I could tell you that it means the waters of this life will always be calm. But I can’t because the Bible says otherwise. The Bible is full of stories about people who faced hard times while doing exactly what God wanted them to do.

The disciples are one example. The Israelites are another example. When the Israelites reached the Red Sea, Pharoah and his army were behind them. Water stretched for miles in front of them. There was nowhere to go even though they had gone exactly where God had sent them.

They discovered, as many of us have discovered, that you can be both in the center of God’s will, and still stuck in what appears to be a hopeless situation. That being so, I never want you to confuse trials or hopelessness with an absence of God, or His plans. He has a purpose for the storms He allows in our lives.

There is a lot of preaching today as well as many Christian books that tell you that if you follow Jesus, you will never have to face any challenges in life. But that wasn’t true for Jesus, or anyone else who followed Him. This is because God sometimes allows trials into our lives in order to reveal Himself to us in a way that we would not have known Him otherwise. But whether or not we benefit from these trials or they defeat us depends largely on how we view them and how we respond to God in the middle of them.

Being in a trial is never fun. But you don’t have to go through it alone. The downfall in the economy may have put pressure on your financial life. Maybe you’ve lost your job due to no fault of your own. Or maybe these pressures have increased the strain at home in your family and you are facing a storm in your marriage or with your kids.

Wherever your storm may be, you are not alone. Jesus is with you and He will see you through. Listen for His voice. Look for Him. Remember, if life ever makes you feel like you are drowning, your lifeguard walks on water.

May Our Lord God bless you, Have a blessed day

HOW THE APOSTLES and SOME DISCIPLES OF CHRIST DIED:

1. Matthew - suffered martyrdom in Ethiopia, killed by a sword wound.

2. Mark - died in Alexandria, Egypt, after being dragged by horses through the streets until he was dead.

3. Luke - was hanged in Greece as a result of his tremendous preaching to the lost.

4. John - faced martyrdom when he was boiled in a huge basin or caldron of boiling oil during a wave of persecution in Rome. However, he was miraculously delivered from death. John was then sentenced to the mines on the prison island of Patmos. He wrote his prophetic Book of Revelation there on the island of Patmos . The apostle John was later freed and returned to serve as bishop of Edessa in modern day Turkey . He died as an old man, the only apostle to die peacefully.

5. Peter - was crucified upside down on a cross. According to church tradition it was because he told his tormentors that he felt unworthy to die in the same way that Jesus Christ had died.

6. James - the leader of the church in Jerusalem, was thrown down over a hundred feet from the southeast pinnacle of the Temple when he refused to deny his faith in Christ. When they discovered that he survived the fall, his enemies beat James to death with a fuller's club. *This was the same pinnacle where Satan had taken Jesus during the temptation.

7. James the Son of Zebedee - was a fisherman by trade when Jesus called him to a lifetime of ministry. As a strong leader of the church, James was beheaded at Jerusalem. The Roman officer who guarded James watched in amazement as James defended his faith at his trial. Later, the officer walked beside James to the place of ex*****on. Overcome by conviction, the Roman officer declared his new faith to the judge and knelt beside James to accept beheading as a Christian.

8. Bartholomew - also known as Nathaniel was a missionary to Asia. He witnessed for our Lord in present day Turkey. Bartholomew was martyred for his preaching in Armenia where he was flayed to death by a whip.

9. Andrew - was crucified on an X-shaped cross in Patras, Greece. After being whipped severely by seven soldiers they tied his body to the cross with cords to prolong his agony. His followers reported that, when he was led toward the cross, Andrew saluted it in these words: 'I have long desired and expected this happy hour. The cross has been consecrated by the body of Christ hanging on it.' He continued to preach to his tormentors for two days until he expired.

10. Thomas - was stabbed with a spear in India during one of his missionary trips to establish the church in the Sub-continent.

11. Jude - was killed with arrows when he refused to deny his faith in Christ.

12. Matthias - the apostle chosen to replace the traitor Judas Iscariot, was stoned and then beheaded.

13. Paul - was tortured and then BEHEADED by the evil Emperor Nero at Rome in A.D. 67. Paul endured a lengthy imprisonment, which allowed him to write his many epistles to the churches he had formed throughout the Roman Empire. These letters, which taught many of the foundational doctrines of Christianity, form a large portion of the New Testament.

Perhaps this is a reminder to us that our sufferings here are indeed minor compared to the intense persecution and cold cruelty faced by the apostles and disciples during their times, for the sake of Christ and the faith.

Make this message your contribution to the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ! THE SALVATION OF OUR PRECIOUS SOULS IS NOT THROUGH RELIGIOUS PERSUASION BUT THROUGH A RELATION PERSONAL WITH THE LORD JESUS CHRIST! Be blessed.

KEEP YOUR GUARD UP!

It's really important to keep your spiritual guard up, especially when God is blessing you and you sense breakthrough and momentum, whether in your personal life, ministry or church.

Peter in Matthew 16 hears from heaven and receives the powerful rock of revelation that the church is founded on: Jesus is the Christ - the Anointed Son of the Living God. Jesus calls him blessed of the Father, and says he is giving him the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven, most likely because he was the one who received the revelation.

This of course reveals a spiritual principle that he who receives revelation, receives keys that release faith and authority to unlock the invisible realm and operate in the Kingdom of God. That's powerful stuff! Peter had to be walking pretty tall by now - he went from Simon (Reed) to Peter (Rock). Hears from heaven. He's called blessed. Gets keys. Wow! He's pretty excited.

But then just a little later Jesus begins to explain to them that he must be killed in Jerusalem and raised the third day. Peter, thinking he's still in the Spirit hearing from heaven says, Never Lord! This won't happen to you! Jesus turns to him and tells him, Get behind me satan! You do not have in mind the things of God, but of men.

Wow, that was pretty brutal! His balloon got popped real quick. He didn't realize that he had gotten lifted up in pride, and was now hearing the wrong voice, yet convinced in his mind it was still the voice of God.

After great revelation, breakthroughs and blessings, it is so important to guard against a spirit of sabotage that would try to derail your momentum. When we gain territory in the Spirit, we must also maintain and keep it through the Spirit. It is vitally important to always spiritually KEEP YOUR GUARD

THE CARRIERS OF SAMUEL ARE AT THE ALTAR.

The Hannah's of this generation are arising, they will carry Samuel as Prophetic symbol of the voice of God in a season where his true and authentic voice is rare.

Sometimes it appears as though the world is scaling on all the mountains, producing where the church is left behind. But we need to understand that our seed is not like that of penninah' but like Hannah's , God is arising a generation of believers that will not just conceive like the world but will produce Samuel at the alter in shiloh .And what we produce, will be what God will use to project his voice through in this season. Sometimes when you are called to carry such weight, God will take you through a process and this process is meant to lead you to the Altar like he did with Hannah.

It is from this place of a broken spirit, desperation, desire and longing for more where God releases Samuel.

Samuel will not just be given and conceived, Samuel is negotiated with God at the altar.
