By the grace and mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, today our ministry was blessed to serve widow women in Khanewal and the surrounding communities. 🙏🌾
With your prayers and support, we distributed essential ration bags to mothers and sisters who are walking through one of the hardest seasons of life — widowhood.
Each bag contains **wheat flour, lentils, rice, cooking oil, tea, and other basic groceries** to help sustain these families for the coming weeks. For many, this is not just food. This is dignity. This is hope. This is a reminder that they are not alone.
The Word of God calls us clearly:
"The Father of the fatherless and protector of widows is God in his holy habitation." - Psalm 68:5 ❤️
"Learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow's cause." - Isaiah 1:17
Today we met women who are raising children alone, women who lost their husbands to illness, and women who struggle every day to provide for their homes. We prayed with them. We listened to their stories. And we told them: God sees you. God loves you. And the Church is with you.
The cross behind us is more than a symbol. It is a promise that Jesus came to bring comfort to the brokenhearted and to set the captives free. Seeing the gratitude in their eyes reminded us why we do this work.
This ministry is only possible because of God’s provision and because of faithful people like you who sow into this mission through prayer,
