Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
As you all know, the novel Coronavirus (Covid - 19) pandemic has gripped our nation in fear. At this time I want to remind all of you as your pastor that we are not to doubt the Divine protection and healing which our Lord has promised us in countless passages in the Holy Bible.

We praise the Lord that he has protected us and our loved ones at St. Andrew’s English parish so far and we hope and pray that He shields us with the blood of His Son, our blessed Lord Jesus Christ.

I want to encourage you to continue praying and fasting at this time of crisis. As you know all, there are special prayers being held at different churches of our diocese for protection against the virus. Our bishop, Rt. Rev. Sadiq Daniel is also in talks with the Sindh Government and health officials on how to protect ourselves and others from the virus.

The doors of our church will continue to be open to all who want to come and pray. Please do not believe any WhatsApp messages that are not published by official channels of the Diocese.

We will have our regular services on Sunday morning and evening, but there will be no Holy Communion.

Those of you who are experiencing any illness or cold or flu are advised to stay at home.

And those who don’t want to attend the service because they want to take any risk, we understand and empathize. Don’t feel any pressure to come to church. Our loving Heavenly Father understands our problems and will not judge or condemn you for missing the service. And neither will I :)

Continue to lift me up in your prayers as I fight with kidney pain. Hope to see all of you soon.

God bless you.

A retreat, Beyond Blue, was organized by the Women's fellowship, St. Andrew's English Parish. Ladies from the Urdu parish were invited, as well and an eager participation was very encouraging.

The sessions primarily based on light exercises, self-analysis, personal reflections and activities were conducted by Regina John.

Some stress relieving tips were shared too. The event ended with a deep insight on Spiritual calm and prayers. Ladies gathered for a tea fellowship to bring a close to a fun-filled, relaxing evening.

See you on Sunday :)
