Shaikh Ajmal Hammad Mughal (Damaat Barakatuhu), was granted Ijazah (Khilafat) in Chishtia Sabria Silsila by Hazrat M***i Khaliq Ahmed Akhoon (Damaat Barakatuhu) in 2007 making him the first Khalifa (Representative) of Shaikh Hazrat M***i Khaliq Ahmed Akhoon(Damaat Barakatuhu).

Shaikh completed his primary and secondary education from Karachi and choose Chartered Accountancy as carrier in early nineties. During his professional accountancy tenure he directly interacted with top management and entrepreneurs of small and medium business organizations and multi-national firms. This professional interaction helped him to understand the practicality of the issues and complcations of the present era.

He joined Majalis and Bayans (spiritual gatherings) of his first shaikh Shaheed e Islam Hazrat Moulana Muhammad Yusuf Ludhiyanvi Shaheed (Rehmat Ullah Alaihi), in mid of eighties and being with Hazrat Shaheed till his Shahadat in May 2000. After he has been granted Khilafat, Shiakh devoted his time to the islah (spiritual purification) of the Ummah. His teachings mainly emphasize on the unique relationship of every human being with Allah ﷻ through the only possible and appraise way of Sunnah e Muhammadiﷺ.
