𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐂𝐎𝐒𝐓 𝐒𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

On 24th, May 2026, Pentecost Sunday celebrated with great spiritual fervor at St. John the Baptist Church, Safoora Goth.

Through prayer and special worship, the Holy Spirit was invited to come and fill the hearts of the faithfuls, ignite the fire of His love within us and makes us holy.

Br. Kashif (OFM Cap) led the Communion Service and shared a beautiful message with the faithfuls.

In his homily, Br. Kashif beautifully said: _"The Spirit of God is in us all, and we are all temples of the Holy Spirit. He dwells within us. Today as we celebrate Pentecost and call upon the Holy Spirit, He comes to us, ignites His fire within us, and strengthens us so that we may overcome all our weaknesses and sins, and live our lives obeying the commands of Jesus."

At the end of the prayer, a cake was cut to celebrate Pentecost, the birthday of the Catholic Church, and doves were released into the sky — symbolizing the Holy Spirit.

Mother’s Day was celebrated with faith, love, and devotion at St. John the Baptist Church, Safoora Goth. On May 10, 2026 Sunday.

Communion Service was Offered by Bro. Shouqat (OFM Cap). In his homily, Bro. Shouqat beautifully shared a touching truth: "Does a mother even have just one day? Without a mother, there is no day at all".

Then, in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of all creation, a beautiful chadar/dupatta and flowers were offered. The congregation prayed the "Hail Mary" three times for the health and safety of all mothers.

The Catechism School children added joy by presenting beautiful poems and verses in praise of mothers.

The celebration concluded with a Mother’s Day cake cutting, and all church groups presented mothers with lovely gifts, chocolates, and Mother’s Day cards.

𝗙𝗶𝗳𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿

On May 03, 2026, the 5th Sunday of Easter was celebrated at St. John the Baptist Church, Safoora Goth.

The Communion Service was offered by Bro. Nadir.

In his homily he explained that, Jesus Christ is way, the Truth and the Life and without Jesus we are nothing.

We are truly grateful for this spiritual reflection and these meaningful words. They touched our hearts deeply, may God always bless his priesthood.
