Assalamu Alaykum,

Over the past few days, we have witnessed devastating circumstances taking place in Gaza. *Over 1.3 million people are in need of humanitarian aid.* Fuel supply has been cut off and consequently, the only power plant in Gaza has been shut down. The people in Gaza do not have access to electricity, food and clean water. Hospitals are struggling to operate and overburdened beyond capacity; and critically short of medical supplies.

More than 1900 people have lost their lives and thousands have been wounded and displaced. The situation in Gaza is unimaginable. It has become almost impossible for civilians to survive.

May Allah have mercy on our brothers and sisters in Palestine; help them, protect them, and keep them safe.

The Messengerﷺ of Allah said:
“The parable of the believers in their affection, mercy, and compassion for each other is that of a body. When any limb aches, the whole body reacts with sleeplessness and fever.”
[Sahih al-Bukhari 2586]
