Through your donations, Feed the sheep of Christ and Christian Welfare Societyof Christ has supported this project for marginalised Christian youth, providing 10 school dropouts with apprenticeships.
Students from Faisalabad, Islamabad and Rawalpindi, Pakistan, received market-driven skills development and structured apprenticeship opportunities.
Building on a strong foundation established during the first six months, they were successfully placed in apprenticeships. The students maintained consistent engagement and have progressed toward economic self-reliance.
"I left school not because I didn't want to study but because my family needed me. One day, I will bring books into so many other hands as i was given books and skills to earn" said a beneficiary.

As a young Christian, praying consistently can feel overwhelming. Have you ever wanted to pray but didn't know what to say?

In Jeremiah 1:7, the Lord instils confidence in Jeremiah, who, in his youth, felt overwhelmed by the calling put on his life.

At Feed The Sheep Of Christ, we are passionate about encouraging a habit of prayer – and especially helping young people to play their part within the global Church by praying for those who are suffering and persecuted. For all the young followers of Christ, something special is coming, watch this space...

Christians in Pakistan are a despised and persecuted minority. The country’s 20,000 brick kilns are majority enslaved by Christians trapped in a life of daily, gruelling labour with no hope of escape.

There are still many people tied to the unrelenting work and inescapable debts of Pakistan’s brick kilns.

You can help. Prayerfully consider giving to our project to pay these families’ debts and set them free. Every amount, however small, will go a long way to helping these families escape the kilns

“In your unfailing love you will lead the people you have redeemed. In your strength, you will guide them to your holy dwelling” – Exodus 15:13
This promise from Exodus 15:13 reminds us even in our darkest moments, God will lead the people He has redeemed with unfailing love. He will guide us to our heavenly home – His holy dwelling.
May this verse be an encouragement to all who face trials, reminding us of the Lord's strength and protection over His flock. Pray that each one of His people will draw inspiration from this verse and find solace in this timeless promise, especially those enduring persecution for His Name’s sake.

You don’t know them – but they need your help.

The 2025 monsoon season has brought devasting floods to Pakistan.

Among those in desperate need are 3 Christian families from a village near the Punjabi city of Faisalabad whose homes of brick and mud were washed away by the raging flood waters.

They have sought shelter in a church building that withstood the elements – but this cannot serve as a long-term solution.

Feed The Sheep of Christ working urgently to meet their pressing needs for food, medical supplies and clean drinking water.

Please also pray for the Lord’s provision at this time of disaster.

Police officers load the body of youth Fanish Masih, who died while in police custody, onto a vehicle in Sialkot, Pakistan.

Robert Danish was arrested on September 11, 2009, under Section 295-B of the Pakistan Penal Code, at Sambrial Police Station, based on a complaint by Muhammad Asghar Ali, a resident of Jhethey Key village. He was presented before a local magistrate and sent to judicial custody in Sialkot Central Jail, where, according to his family, he was killed. Riasat Masih, Robert's father, refused to hold his son’s funeral until the killers were apprehended. Family members rejected the jail authorities’ claim of su***de, stating, “We don’t believe the su***de theory of jail authorities because Robert was not a coward who presented himself at the police station when they detained his father.” A relative said , “Muslim jail officers are involved in his killing.”

Christians in Sialkot announced a two-day strike and mourning period in response to Robert’s death. Local Muslim Mullahs were conspiring, having displayed banners with slogans like “Kill the blasphemers” on the Wazirabad-Sialkot road in Sambrial after the Gojra incident on August 1, 2009, where

Muslims burned Christians alive.
Jhethey Key, located 20 kilometers from Sialkot in the Sambrial sub-district, has 30 Christian families living alongside 100 Muslim families, historically in religious harmony.

Muhammed Asghar Ali, a village barber, accused Robert Danish of pushing his daughter, Hina Ali, who was returning home after Quran recitation. Asghar Ali claimed in the FIR that Robert took a Quran Supara from Hina’s hand and threw it into a drain, leading to the blasphemy charge. Muslims in the village had previously accused Robert of having an affair with Hina, a Muslim girl, and threatened to kill him if he did not end the relationship. Friends of Robert reported rumors circulating for months about framing him in a blasphemy case.

Anwar Kenneth was sentenced to death in Lahore in 2002 for defending Christianity against Islam in the weeks following the 9/11 attacks.

Anwar Kenneth, a Christian man from Lahore, has been on death row for 21 years following his conviction of for defending Christianity in an exchange with a local Islamic leader in the aftermath of the attacks on 11 September 2001.

Anwar Kenneth’s odyssey is now before the Pakistani Supreme Court, which is already started deliberations on the matter since February 29, 2023.

His legal troubles began when a complaint was filed against him on 25 September 2001 under the infamous Article 295c of the Pakistan Penal Code, That Mandate Death Sentence the so-called blasphemy law.

The charge is based on a letter, the man, a former Ministry of Fisheries employee, sent to Haji Mehmood Zafar, secretary of a Lahore Mosque, who had written to him that, while Jesus Christ is a prophet according to Islamic tradition, he neither died on a cross nor was resurrected.

In his reply, Anwar Kenneth argued that Muhammad was not the prophet and that the Qur'an was not the word of God. And, provocatively, he challenged his interlocutor to file a complaint for blasphemy, claiming that God would protect him.

Eventually, Anwar Kenneth went on trial on 18 July 2002, ending with a conviction, a fine of five million rupees, a death sentence, and immediate imprisonment. On 30 June 2014, the Lahore High Court upheld the court's verdict.

Anwar Kenneth has always refused to appoint his own lawyer claiming that God is his defence. Moreover, in 21 years, five court-appointed lawyers have refused to represent him in court.

On 24 January 2023, the Supreme Court asked the Bar Council to provide counsel to represent the defendant in the interests of criminal justice. A lawyer agreed, so the hearing is set for 1 March.

Anwar Kenneth “is firm in his faith in Christianity, and his arguments and opinions should not be interpreted as an act of blasphemy.”

For Lawyer Abdul Hameed Rana, Anwar Kenneth is a devout believer and an innocent person. Like him, “There are billions of people in the world, who have their own religion and do not believe in Islam”.

None of them “are not liable to be prosecuted in any court of law for their beliefs.” Hence, “he must be acquitted as he has already spent 21 years of his life behind the bar for the offence he has never committed.”

Furthermore, written communication between two religious leaders who practise their respective faiths, Christian and Islamic, should not be interpreted as an act of blasphemy.

At least 27 church buildings and 100 homes belonging to Christians were attacked by Islamist extremists in the Jaranwala area of Punjab, Pakistan, in August 2023. The anti-Christian riots took place because a group of Christians were falsely accused of burning pages from the Quran. Our brothers and sisters in Pakistan are often vulnerable to these kinds of accusations. As well as arrest and imprisonment, whole communities are at risk from mob violence.

These violent incidents still occur in Pakistan along with waves of Blaspheming cases. Please continue to pray for our brothers and sisters who have to face these challenges every day.

Is Christian persecution exaggerated by Western media? 🤔

At Feed the sheep of Christ and Christian Welfare Society we know that persecution (whether marginalisation, violence or government repression) is a persistent reality in many parts of the world. Sometimes accounts of persecution are exaggerated – but much more often persecution is actually underreported. Please continue to pray for our brothers and sisters who endure continual hardship for the sake of Christ.
