📖 *Tajweed Course — Lesson #3: Difference in Letters*
🖋️ *Difference Between Thā (ث), Sīn (س) and Ṣād (ص)*
In Qur’anic Tajweed, understanding the difference between Thā (ث), Sīn (س), and Ṣād (ص) is essential for correct pronunciation and accurate articulation. Although these letters may have some similarities in their sounds, each letter has its own specific qualities that must be pronounced correctly.
🔹 *Thā (ث):* Pronounced with a soft and thin voice.
🔹 *Sīn (س):* Pronounced with a thin voice accompanied by Ṣafīr (a whistling sound).
🔹 *Ṣād (ص):* Pronounced with a thick voice accompanied by Ṣafīr (a whistling sound).
Understanding the differences in the qualities of these three letters and practicing their correct pronunciation is essential for accurate Makharij, proper articulation, and correct Tajweed in Qur’anic recitation.
