As we welcome the blessed month of Ramadan, the Muslim Students' Association (MSA) of Zamboanga Peninsula Polytechnic State University (ZPPSU) extends our warmest greetings to everyone.

𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗮 𝗶𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟵, 𝗳𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗙𝗲𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟭𝟵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱.

The month of Ramadhan [is that] in which was revealed the Qur’an, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion. So whoever sights [the new moon of] the month, let him fast it; and whoever is ill or on a journey – then an equal number of other days. Allah intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship and [wants] for you to complete the period and to glorify Allah for that [to] which He has guided you; and perhaps you will be grateful."
[Quran 2:185]

The Prophet ﷺ said:
"𝘞𝘩𝘰𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘧𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘴 𝘥𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘙𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘰𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘢 𝘳𝘦𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘈𝘭𝘭𝘢𝘩, 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘱𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘯." (𝘉𝘶𝘬𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘪, 𝘔𝘶𝘴𝘭𝘪𝘮)

May Allah (SWT) grant us steadfastness in faith, sincerity in our actions, and the ability to complete this Ramadhan in a manner that pleases Him. May this holy month bring peace, understanding, mercy, and abundant blessings to our university community and beyond.

Let this Ramadan be a journey of renewal, forgiveness, and strengthened faith.

The ZPPSU-Muslim Students' Association, In our mission. we stand firm with the guidelines outlined in the MSA-ZPPSU Constitution and By-Laws. ARTICLE II: AIM AND PURPOSE.

Section 2: Compliance with University Regulations
The Association agrees to abide by the Guide to Students' Rights and Responsibilities, which
can be found in the Guide to Campus Life, and other regulations of the Zamboanga Peninsula
Polytechnic State University.

As per CHED Memorandum Order No. 47, Series of 2026, which STRENGTHENING THE PROTECTION OF RELiGIOUS RIGHTS OF STUDENTS IN HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTION. This memorandum emphasizes the importance of safeguarding the rights of Muslim students and ensuring that their religious practices are respected in the academic environment. Please refer to the attached image for further details.

We encourage all ZPPSU Muslim students to be aware of their rights and to report any incidents that may violate these rights. Should any student face challenges or feel their religious freedom is being compromised, we urge you to reach out to us immediately. The MSA is here to be your voice and advocate for the protection of your rights.

Please avoid posting harmful content online. Instead, communicate your concerns with us so we can address them effectively.

Together, we stand as one ZPPSU and one MSA.

Allah Almighty says:

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِذَا نُودِىَ لِلصَّلَوٰةِ مِن يَوْمِ ٱلْجُمُعَةِ فَٱسْعَوْا۟ إِلَىٰ ذِكْرِ ٱللَّهِ وَذَرُوا۟ ٱلْبَيْعَ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ خَيْرٌۭ لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ ٩
O believers! When the call to prayer is made on Friday, then proceed ˹diligently˺ to the remembrance of Allah and leave off ˹your˺ business. That is best for you, if only you knew.
Surah Al-Jumuah: 09
