ALL SET for the First Day of Novena in honor of our Patroness, the Our Lady of Assumption!

From today, August 6, 2021 until August 14, 2021, Novena Masses will be held at 6:00 in the EVENING. The Novena prayer shall precede at 5:30 in the afternoon. No morning Masses will be held during these period.

Mass goers are advised to strictly abide with the minimum health protocols as we are still under General Community Quarantine (GCQ).

The Himig Assumptionista's leaders and some member visit the Parish and Shrine of St. Padre Pio at Cabatangan, Zamboanga City to pray for guidance for this new mission given to us by our Parish Priest.

Continue to pray for us for the greater service that we can offer to the Lord and the Church.

LOOK: Our Priests are now fully vaccinated.

Some of our diocesan clergy had their second dose of covid-19 vaccine earlier at the MPCC, ADZU.

We thank the Department of Health, Local Government Unit, City Health Office and Ateneo de Zamboanga University for facilitating the vaccination of our priests.

We continuously encourage our faithful to get vaccinated and be protected against covid-19. Go out and get the jab done!

Tomorrow, July 1, 2021, will mark the start of another chapter in the life and story of our humble parish as we conclude the 6-year term of Rev. Fr. Argeo "Boy" Justol and at the same time usher the beginning of Rev. Fr. Medaleno "Dino" Viodor's journey with us as our new Parish Priest.

A Thanksgiving Mass will be offered by outgoing Parish Priest Fr.Boy at 9:00 in the morning, tomorrow Thursday, prior to his departure to Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Parish of Bolong, his new parish of assignment.

We thank the Lord for the gift of service of Fr.Boy, as we also pray to God to grant Fr. Dino the graces he needs to lead the Our Lady of Assumption Parish.

Bienvenidos, Fr. Dino!
