Today, June 13, 2026, we joyfully celebrate the Feast of St. Anthony of Padua, one of the most beloved saints of the Catholic Church. Known as the patron saint of lost things and a powerful intercessor, St. Anthony remains a shining example of faith, humility, and devoted service to God and neighbor.

Throughout his life, he demonstrated the importance of steadfast faith, fervent prayer, and compassionate care for the poor and those in need. His words and actions continue to inspire believers around the world to live lives of holiness, charity, and unwavering trust in God's providence.

As we commemorate this special feast day, may we follow his example of goodness and faithfulness to God's will. Let us seek his intercession that we may be guided in our spiritual journey and become instruments of peace, love, and hope within our families and communities.

St. Anthony of Padua, pray for us.

In celebration of the Corpus Christi Sunday today, June 7, 2026, the Our Lady of Salvation Parish conducted a procession of the Blessed Sacrament around its satellite districts. Each barangay and district also offered goods like fruits, vegetables, and bread, known in common parlance as 'tinagba'.

At 7:30 AM, a Holy Mass started in honor of the aforesaid solemnity. It was presided over by our Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Constantino T. Soriao, who also shared stories about the Israelites struggling to find food and drink.

He also explained the importance of food and drink in our lives.

"Basic needs of every human being ang pagkaon buda inumon," he said.

In the context of the Church, he expounded the significance of the bread and wine.

"An minakakan kan Saiyang hawak asin minainom kan Saiyang dugo, magkakaigwa nin buhay na daing kasagkoran," the priest emphasized.

"Girumdumon nindo na an tawo dai nabubuhay sa tinapay lamang, kundi sa tataramon na naghahale sa nguso nin Dios," he furthered.

Fr. Tantin also reminded everyone that God always provides, and that the bread and wine always symbolize the grace and goodness of God.

May this celebration remind us that God is here, and accepting His Body and Blood through the bread and wine is receiving His love, forgiveness, and the promise of eternal life.

On the first Friday of June, parishioners gathered to celebrate the monthly Prayer Vigil in honor of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary at the Our Lady of Salvation Parish.

The celebration began with the Novena, followed by the Holy Mass presided over by Rev. Fr. Constantino T. Soriao.

After the Mass, the remaining hours of the vigil were devoted to prayer and reflection as the sponsors shared personal testimonies centered on the Nine Offices of the Sacred Heart.

The sponsors for this month’s celebration were the Social Communications and Media Ministry, Palnab DPC, Palnab DYPF, and Palta Salvacion SK.

The vigil concluded with a Holy Mass, also celebrated by our beloved parish priest.

Through this devotion, may we continue to deepen our faith, grow in love and compassion, and entrust our lives to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, whose hearts lead us ever closer to God.
