A testimony from our Sister in Christ, Olive Evangelista.

We just want to share our testimony. The Lord has truly been so good to our family and to each one of us. One day before the retreat, we thought we wouldn’t be able to attend because our son Jacob was not feeling well. But by God’s grace and mercy, He healed our child. He did not allow us to be left behind, and because of that, our family is very thankful for the Lord’s goodness.

During this family retreat, we are very grateful and thankful because we were able to have precious moments with my spouse and our children, and also with our brothers and sisters in faith. We felt the presence of the Lord, and it reminded us how much God loves our family.

Whatever trials we may go through, we know we can overcome them as long as You are with us, Lord Jesus.

I feel very blessed, and so does my family, because I never expected that my older brothers would attend the family retreat. I am very thankful to the Lord because they are slowly getting to know His love and allowing Him to change their lives.

After many years, it was also my mother’s first time to receive flowers from my brothers. While they were giving the flowers, the Lord showed me how deeply He expresses His love for my family. Even though we face many trials, the Lord is with us as we face the challenges of life.

Thank You, Lord, for the strength. We will continue to serve You, Lord Jesus, together with my family.

We would like to share this beautiful testimony from Revierose about God’s goodness and faithfulness during our recent Family Retreat. May this encourage and bless everyone who reads it. 🙏

“I just want to share God’s goodness during the couples gathering. We were very blessed because my husband came with me, and it was also his birthday. He was surprised with a cake by our brothers and sisters in faith, and it was his first time blowing out birthday candles like that.

At first, my husband did not want to come because he believed he should not travel on his birthday. But because of the Lord’s love, he was able to go, know God more, surrender his life to the Lord, and attend church. He learned many things. Before, I thought he would never change, but through God’s goodness I can now see that he is slowly understanding the true will of the Lord.

I am also very happy because we were able to go on a date alone as a couple for the first time in a long while. I truly thank God because He blessed us as husband and wife.”

Stepped out in faith to pioneer at CFEM, not knowing what to expect. Konti lang ang nag-respond, but God moved in ways we never imagined. He brought the right people at the right time. We are reminded that when you obey God’s calling, Siya na ang bahala sa lahat, even the people you will meet. Truly, it’s not by our efforts but by His grace.
