Friday service is back after a brief pause. We are pleased to invite you to join us as we resume our Friday gatherings.

We apologize for the delay in resuming our Friday service and being inactive. We know how much you wanted to worship with us and we regret the inconvenience this delay may have caused.

We look forward to gathering together again on January 31.

Following Christ is not an easy task, it's a road full of bumps and hurdles, and it requires full commitment, conviction, and sacrifice.

We give our utmost gratitude to you, Brothers and Sisters, for your presence and willingness to join our event!

With that, our fellowship, "Moving Forward With Purpose, Not Pride", ended with a bang!

Like Jesus, may we set out for our mission with boldness, bravery, and faith. Come on, let us move forward amidst the challenges ahead!

In writing about "There is a Balm in Gilead" (UM Hymnal #375), theologian Howard Thurman noted that in singing this song, enslaved African Americans turned a question asked in Jeremiah 8:22--"Is there no balm in Gilead?"--into an exclamation.

Mercies are new each morning. 🌄

Poet and preacher Thomas Chisholm's words, which would become the refrain for the hymn "Great Is Thy Faithfulness", echo Lamentations 3:22-23. Much of Lamentations speaks about loss and mourning. But in chapter 3, the author makes a hopeful turn, noting that God's love endures even in the midst of hardship. 💗

🎼Many congregations will join together in this hymn this week. May the words provide all who utter them and hear them a reminder of God's unfailing love for all.

Instead, we are inviting you, brothers and sisters, to join us in the World Day of Prayer this coming friday, held at the Linao United Methodist Church. We are hoping to see you there!
