The empty tomb was never meant to be the end of the story—it was the beginning.

Sometimes we celebrate the victory of the cross and the resurrection, but we forget that it comes with a calling. Jesus didn’t just rise to give us hope—He rose with authority, and with that authority, He gave us a mission: to go, to make disciples, to live a life that points others back to Him.

Following Jesus is not just about being saved—it’s about being sent.

And the beautiful part is this: we are not sent alone. The same Jesus who conquered death promises His presence, and the Holy Spirit empowers us to live out that calling every day.

So the question is no longer, “What did Jesus do for me?”
The real question is, “What will I do with what Jesus has done?”

𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗣𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿

Real love is not always convenient. Real love sacrifices, surrenders, and stays faithful even when it costs everything. While the world teaches us to chase our own desires, Christ teaches us to fix our eyes on God, lay down our personal ambitions, and follow His will above our own.

Sometimes obedience means letting go of pride, comfort, bitterness, or plans we desperately want to control. Sometimes love means choosing forgiveness, choosing humility, and choosing faithfulness when it hurts. Our mission as believers is not to live only for ourselves, but to carry and spread the message of salvation to a world that desperately needs hope.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲. 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗺𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘀𝗼 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲.

As His disciple, how much are you willing to do for love?
Just as Christ extended grace through the cross, may we also extend grace, mercy, and love to others.

Living the resurrected life isn’t just about what happens after death...
..it’s about how we live NOW!

Madalas, we prepare so much for the end of life pero pinaghahandaan ba natin ang buhay matapos nito? Jesus declared, "Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days (John 2:19–20)," pointing to a power that goes beyond the grave. 𝗜𝗻 𝗛𝗶𝗺, 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗱; 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲.

This resurrected life calls us to die to what once defined us:
Die to selfishness and choose to love others.
Die to worldly patterns and be transformed according to God’s will.
Break free from the chains of sin and walk in victory, because in Christ, there is always a way out.

We no longer live for ourselves, but for the One who died and was raised again for us.

And as we walk this journey, we don’t just look at the present, we fix our eyes on eternity. We carry the hope of a new body and a new home where God makes all things new.

Kaya, mabuhay ka!
Live free and victorious in Christ.
Live empowered by the Holy Spirit.

Will you start living your resurrected life today? Handa ka na ba?

"𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮?" —𝘗𝘴𝘢𝘭𝘮 8:4

The King entered in humility not to claim a throne but to carry a cross.

From the triumphant entry to Calvary, Jesus showed us a love unlike any other: a love that chose surrender over status, service over supremacy, and obedience over comfort.

He is God, yet became a servant.
He had all authority, yet submitted Himself even to death on a cross.

He carried the curse we deserved.
He erased the penalty written against us.

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗽, 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗰𝘆.

Now the call is clear:
Imitate Christ. Walk in humility. Live in full surrender.

Because the mission was never about power, it was always about people;
to save, to restore, and to bring us back under His Lordship.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂?

Are you the one who does what is right but without intention?
The one who watches but never truly participates?
Or the one who gives it all seeking only the validation of God?

Last Saturday, we read 2 Samuel 6 and saw three different postures before the presence of God:

Uzzah had good intentions, but lacked obedience and it cost him his life.
𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗱, 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱, 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗱, 𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗢𝗥𝗗 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁: 𝘂𝗻𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗱, 𝘄𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱.
And then there was Michal, who watched from a distance, allowing pride and contempt to rob her of encountering God.

The essence of worship is not performance, nor routine; worship is a response to God's holiness.

To be in His presence requires intentional pursuit. To remain in it requires obedience and reverence. 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗛𝗲 𝗶𝘀, 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗽𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴, our 𝙔𝘼𝘿𝘼𝙃, a praise that holds nothing back.

So YRock Cavite, holding on to our BABAD Prayer Gatherings as our lifeline,
we don't stay on the sidelines, we always step in!
We don't hold back. We give God our all!

Because God's presence is here and near and He will always be worthy of a worship that is fully surrendered.

“Through His blood, God is always willing to cleanse you. Humble yourself and repent. Wag kang matakot. Wag kang mahiya.”

Minsan ang pinakamahirap na gawin ay hindi ang bumalik sa Diyos—kundi ang aminin na kailangan natin Siyang balikan. Pride, fear, and shame often keep us stuck, making us feel like we’re too far gone or too unworthy to come near.

Pero ang totoo, hindi kailanman nagsara ang pinto ng Diyos para sa atin. Through Jesus, the way has already been made. Hindi ka Niya hinihintay na maging okay ka muna—hinihintay ka lang Niyang bumalik.

So come as you are.
No fear. No shame. Just surrender. 🙏

Last week, we heard the call to return to the LORD. This Sunday, we’re looking at the heartbeat behind that invitation: a Love that Chose the Cross.

Jesus didn’t just happen upon the sacrifice; He stepped toward it. He chose the nails, the shame, and the weight of it all for us. 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴; 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝘀𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹, 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲.

As we gather this Sunday, let’s be challenged to look up to the cross and respond.

Will we choose Him back?
Will we give Him our all?

How long have you been postponing your return to God?

Sometimes, we think coming back to Him requires perfection—as if we need to fix ourselves first before we can approach His presence. But “Return to Me” reminds us of a different truth: Jesus already made the way. Through His sacrifice, the distance between us and God has been removed. The cross was never just about forgiveness—it was about restoring access, restoring relationship, and restoring us back to the Father.

God is not asking for polished words or perfect appearances. He is asking for surrendered hearts.
Because repentance is not about shame—it is about coming home.

This is the beauty of grace: no matter how far we have wandered, His invitation remains the same—return, and be made whole again.
