We are a Trinitarian, Christ-centred, Spirit-empowered growing community of faith in Gagalangin, Tondo, Manila, Philippines. The Church of the Living God-Manila is a church plant and a daughter church of the Church of the Living God-Sydney in obedience to the Spirit’s prompting to Ps Imelda Mesa following a 21-day Daniel Fast in July 2016. ve received such prompting while travelling to Nigeria in late July to early August 2016. With the full support of CLG Sydney’s Ministry Leadership and Business Council, Ps Imelda Mesa embarked on a mission trip to the Philippines in December 2016 with this goal in view. While in the Philippines, Ps Imelda Mesa received a word from the Lord in Job 8:7;
“Although, your beginning was small, yet your latter end shall increase abundantly.”
The Church started from a bible study group of 12 people and held its first service on 11 December 2016, attended by 20 people. The Church is currently meeting in a condominium at San Lazaro.
