FULL TEXT: The CBCP released a statement Tuesday urging the Senate to promptly convene as an impeachment court for Vice President Sara Duterte.

"To delay the trial is to delay justice for both the Filipino people and the Vice President," the bishops said.

Listening to the Good Shepherd:
A Synodal Journey

Jesus, the Good Shepherd, knows His sheep and calls them by name. His voice is gentle yet clear, guiding His flock toward life.

In our synodal journey, we are invited to listen to that same voice. Amid the noise of the world, we discern together where Christ is leading us.

The Good Shepherd walks with His sheep, never leaving anyone behind. This is the heart of synodality: a Church that journeys together - listening, including, and accompanying one another, especially the weak and the lost. No one is forgotten; all are valued.

He leads not by force, but by love, even laying down His life. So too, our leadership must be marked by service and humility.

As we walk together, may we keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, our Shepherd, trusting that His voice will always lead us to truth, unity, and life.
