Deuteronomy 1 & 2, God led His people out of Egypt, but they did not trust Him and got scared, so they wandered for 40 years. When they obeyed, God helped them win and showed them where to go. The message is to trust and obey God. He keeps His promises and guides us, but fear and not listening can make our life harder.
