Sunday Worship | HUMBLE 🤍

Yesterday, we gathered once again in God’s presence and were reminded of the importance of having healthy and meaningful relationships, not only with one another but ultimately with God.

Through the message shared by Pastor Mar Cabael, we were reminded of the example of Abraham, who walked closely with God and trusted Him even when God’s promises required faith and surrender. Abraham’s life reminds us that a close relationship with God is built on trust and obedience. 📖

We were also reminded through the acronym HUMBLE of some important foundations of healthy relationships:

H - Honesty: Being truthful with God, our spouse, and our family
U - Understanding: Learning to understand one another
M - Mutual Respect: Respecting each other’s opinions, decisions, and individuality
B - Boundaries: Knowing and respecting each other’s boundaries
L - Loyalty: Choosing love and building trust
E - Effort: Making the effort to nurture and maintain our relationships

As we grow closer to God, may He also teach us to love, understand, respect, and care for the people He has placed in our lives. May our relationships reflect the love and character of Christ. 🤍

We’re also grateful for our Children’s Ministry, where our little ones are being taught to know and love Jesus from an early age. 🌱

Another blessed Sunday in God’s presence! May we continue to grow in our relationship with Him and in the way we love and relate to one another.

To God be all the glory! 🙏✨

Sunday Worship | ABIDE 🌿

Yesterday, Ptr. Jacob reminded us of one simple yet powerful word: ABIDE.

📖 John 15:1–5

To abide in Christ is more than simply knowing about Him—it is choosing to remain in Him, day after day.

Abiding is not merely a feeling; it is a decision. A decision to stay, to surrender, and to continually depend on Jesus.

As we abide in Him, we allow His Word to live in us, not simply pass through us. We choose intimacy with Him over simply trying to perform for Him. And as we remain in the Vine, we allow Him to prune and purge whatever needs to be removed so that our lives can bear more fruit.

We cannot bear fruit apart from Him.

“Abide in Me, and I in you.” — John 15:4

We also took time to pray for our August celebrants, including those celebrating birthdays and wedding anniversaries. 🎂💍 May God continue to bless, guide, and keep each one!

May we not only come into His presence on Sundays, but learn to ABIDE in Him every day. 🌿

Bayanihan sa Simbahan 🤝❤️

Yesterday, our church family shared food packs with our members as we continue to face the Habagat season. Simple act of sharing, but a meaningful way to remind each other that we’re here for one another.

Grateful to all our bros and sis who supported this program and helped make this possible! 🙏❤️

Last Sunday’s Message: A Life Transformed by Christ ✨

Last Sunday, we were reminded through Acts 9:1–6 of the life-changing encounter of Saul with Jesus on the road to Damascus.

From Saul to Paul, one encounter with Christ changed everything. He surrendered his life to the Lord, discovered his purpose, remained faithful to his calling, and finished well.

True transformation begins when we encounter Christ—not simply knowing about Him, but truly knowing Him and continuing to know Him more.

We were also blessed to share in Holy Communion, remembering Christ’s sacrifice and the grace that makes our transformation possible. As we took the bread and the cup, may we be reminded of the life He gave for us and the life we are called to live for Him.

May our encounter with Jesus continue to transform our hearts, our purpose, and the way we live each day.

A life transformed by Christ is a life surrendered to Christ. 🙏

19 ʏᴇᴀʀꜱ ᴏꜰ ɢᴏᴅ’ꜱ ꜰᴀɪᴛʜꜰᴜʟɴᴇꜱꜱ!

Today, we celebrate not just another year of ministry, but 19 years of God's unwavering faithfulness, grace, and goodness. Every soul saved, every life transformed, every prayer answered, every challenge overcome, and every victory experienced stands as a testimony that the Lord has faithfully been with us every step of the way.

We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to our beloved pastors, Ptr. Marcelo Cabael and Ptra. Nida Cabael, for your faithful leadership, unwavering dedication, countless sacrifices, and steadfast commitment to God's calling. Thank you for continually shepherding the church with love, humility, and perseverance. Your lives have been a blessing to many, and we are grateful for your example of faithful service to the Lord.

We are also grateful for the timely message shared by our guest speaker, ʀᴇᴠ. ᴍᴀɴᴜᴇʟ ᴄᴀʏᴀʙʏᴀʙ, reminding us to "Strengthen the Hands of God's Servant" (Exodus 17:8-13). Just as Aaron and Hur willingly upheld the hands of Moses, we are reminded that every believer has a vital role in God's work. Ministry is not about asking, "What can I receive?" but rather, "How can I support the work of God?"

Our pastors are not exempt from weakness, discouragement, or weariness. They, too, need faithful people who will stand beside them through prayer, encouragement, willing service, and steadfast support. As we strengthen the hands of God's servants, we help strengthen the ministry that points people to Christ.

As we look back with gratitude and look ahead with faith, we remain confident that the God who has been faithful for the past 19 years will continue to lead, provide, and accomplish His purpose through our church for generations to come.

To God alone be all the glory! Thank You, Lord, for 19 wonderful years of faithfulness. Here's to many more years of serving You and proclaiming Your goodness.

Living Holy Lives in Light of Christ’s Return
📖 1 Peter 1:14–16
📖 2 Peter 3:10–12

How should we live in light of Christ’s return?
• By living holy lives in every area of life.
• By living holy lives as we wait for Christ’s return.

As God’s people, we are called to live holy lives—being pure in our thoughts, speech, and actions, and standing firm in the truth of His Word. We are to imitate God, for He is holy, and He calls us to be holy as well. Especially in these last days, when many are turning away from the truth and following the ways of the world, may we remain faithful, walk in obedience, and reflect Christ in the way we live each day.

May we continue to pursue holiness and eagerly await the glorious return of our Lord Jesus Christ.

All Glory to our God! 🤍
