Yesterday, September 27, 2026, is the 26th Sunday in Ordinary Time, and we remember our seafarers and migrants. In the Gospel, one son says “no” but obeys; the other says “yes” but does not act. The sinner who turns back is closer to God than the self-righteous who only appears faithful and remain blind. God always invites us to change and begin anew.

DAY 8 | September 12, 2026

Last September 12, 2026, our parish community gathered together in thanksgiving as we accompanied the Pilgrim Image of St. Sebastian to its next destination.

With hearts filled with gratitude, we held a procession from our parish to Sto. Cristo Parish, Brgy. Sto. Cristo, Tarlac City, where we lovingly entrusted the Pilgrim Image to the next community that will welcome St. Sebastian.

The days of Lakbay Baste have given us moments of prayer, formation, fellowship, and encounter. More than the presence of the Pilgrim Image in our parish, we were reminded of the faith and courage that St. Sebastian witnessed throughout his life.

May the inspiration of St. Sebastian remain in our hearts and move us to be steadfast in our faith, courageous in our witness, and generous in our service to God and His Church.

As the image continues its journey from one community to another, may the devotion and mission it carries continue to bring people closer to Christ.

DAY 7 | September 11, 2026

As we came to the conclusion of Lakbay Baste, our Parish Youth Ministry gathered together on the final night of the visit of the Pilgrim Image of St. Sebastian for a meaningful Taizé Prayer.

In the stillness of prayer, our young people were
invited to pause, listen, and simply be present before the Lord. Through Scripture, silence, prayer, and song, we entrusted to God all the experiences, encounters, and blessings we received throughout the pilgrimage visit.

DAY 6 | September 10, 2026

On the 6th day of the visit of the Pilgrim Image of St. Sebastian, our youth were challenged to put their knowledge to the test through a Quiz Bee about the life of St. Sebastian and the Blessed Virgin Mary.

More than just a friendly competition, the activity also became a form of interactive catechesis, allowing our young people to deepen their knowledge of our faith, our patron saint, and Mary in a fun and engaging way.

Through learning, fellowship, and a little friendly competition, may our youth continue to discover the richness of our Catholic faith and be inspired by the lives of St. Sebastian and Mary to live out their own journey of faith and service.
