With hearts full of faith and gratitude, the Tanudan Parish Youth Ministry gathered for the meaningful send-off of the AVT Youth Cross,a sacred symbol of unity, hope, and mission.
The youth came together in deep prayer during the Eucharistic Exposition with Confession, led by Rev. Fr. Edbelwin Jiah M Manda, SVD. In the stillness before the Blessed Sacrament, hearts were renewed, burdens were surrendered, and faith was strengthened through God's mercy and grace.

A Eucharistic Celebration (Send-off Mass) was joyfully celebrated, reminding the youth of their calling-to serve, to witness, and to respond generously to God's mission. It was a moment of entrustment and commissioning as the journey and the Youth Cross were offered back to the Lord.

After the Mass, the youth set out together for Tinglayan, carrying the Youth Cross with devotion, joy, and commitment. More than a physical transfer, it was a pilgrimage of faith- one that strengthened friendships, deepened unity, and affirmed the mission entrusted to the young Church.

May this Youth Cross continue to Inspire Young Hearts to Courageously say YES to God's Call wherever they are sent.

"Then I heard the Voice of the Lord saying, 'Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?' and I said, 'Here I Am. Send Me!' " (Isaiah 6:8)

Humility 1โƒฃ 0โƒฃ 1โƒฃ

On every pilgrimage trip that I make, I meet all sorts of people. One of the very first things I do is to level the playing field right away by stressing humility. Once that is done, grace just flows. If that is not attended to, the whole pilgrimage could be laden with a lot of useless quarrels, useless heartaches and useless problems, which distract us from the main purpose of a pilgrimage -- that of journeying to God's heart, to people's hearts and to one's own heart.

Please check today how your pride is obscuring or blocking your view of the Divine.

A MOMENT WITH THE LORD
Lord, remind me again and again that I am nothing. Amen.

A MOMENT WITH THE WORD
"God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble." James 4:6

MORNING PRAYER

Father,
you called Saint John Neumann to labor for the gospel
among the people of the new world.
His ministry strengthened many others in the Christian faith:
through his prayers may faith grow strong in this land.
Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
God, for ever and ever.

Amen.

โœจTPYM IN ACTION: GIFT-GIVINGโœจ
|| When We Give With Love, We Plant Seeds Of Hope That Bloom For Generations ||

On January 3, 2026, the TPYM, under the compassionate leadership of Rev. Fr. Edbelwin Jiah Manda, SVD, shared not just gifts, but the Warmth of Care and the Joy of Community with the Beautiful Children of Gaang Elementary School.

Each Smile was a Sunrise, Each Giggle was a Hymn of Joy.๐Ÿค—
With Hearts United and Hands Open, We Learned That Giving Is Not About What We Have, But About Who We Become When We Share.

Our deepest gratitude to BRANCHES for being the roots that nourished this Beautiful Act of Love and Generosity. ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ™
Together, We are Planting Seeds of Love that will Grow in the Hearts of these Young Souls.

Thank you also to the TPYM officers (especially to the Service Coordinator, Ading DaisYlin S. Icao) who dedicated their time and effort to the success of the activity.๐Ÿ™

To the Gaang Community, thank you for the warm welcome and hospitality๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ˜‡

And thatโ€™s exactly why so many Christians are dying spiritually.

Not because they fell into major sin.
Not because they stopped believing in God.
But because they slowly replaced God with everything else,
and called it โ€œbeing busy.โ€

Letโ€™s say it plainly:

People donโ€™t skip church because theyโ€™re busy.
They skip church because something else became more important.

We have time to go out.
Time to travel.
Time to shop.
Time to sleep in.
Time to scroll for HOURS.
Time to binge shows.
Time to hang out.
Time to do errands that couldโ€™ve waited.

But when itโ€™s time to go to the house of God?

Suddenly, everyoneโ€™s โ€œbusy.โ€
Sunday becomes โ€œrest day.โ€
Worship becomes โ€œoptional.โ€
Service becomes โ€œkung kailan free.โ€

We see people wake up early for work,
but canโ€™t wake up for worship.
We see people sacrifice for their hobbies,
but have no strength for ministry.
We see people push through traffic for their entertainment,
but church is โ€œtoo far.โ€

Letโ€™s be real:
Itโ€™s not a time issue.
Itโ€™s a HEART issue.

Because you always make time for what matters to you.

And hereโ€™s the sharp truth nobody wants to hear:

Many Christians have already left the church,
even if theyโ€™re still attending occasionally.
Their hearts are gone.
Their priorities shifted.
Their passion died.

Why?
Because the world successfully convinced them that what theyโ€™re doing is โ€œimportant.โ€
That missing church โ€œjust this onceโ€ is harmless.
That skipping worship because youโ€™re โ€œtiredโ€ is understandable.
That serving God can wait.

But listen:

Hell will not announce its attack.
It will simply keep you busy until you slowly walk away from God without noticing.

Busy enough to miss church.
Busy enough to avoid ministry.
Busy enough to lose your fire.
Busy enough that you donโ€™t even realize youโ€™re backsliding.

And the devil laughs,
not because he destroyed you,
but because he distracted you.

Yet when life crashes,
when problems suffocate you,
when you feel empty, lost, broken,
guess who you run to?

The same God you kept pushing aside because you were โ€œbusy.โ€

โ€œSeek FIRST the Kingdom of Godโ€ฆโ€ (Matthew 6:33)
Not fifth.
Not last.
Not โ€œif I have time.โ€
FIRST.

So hereโ€™s the rebuke:

Stop calling yourself too busy for God
when youโ€™re fully available for everything else.

Stop skipping church for reasons youโ€™d never dare use for work.
Stop treating worship like a chore.
Stop treating ministry like an interruption.
Stop treating God as if He should be grateful you even show up once a week.

One day,
you will stand before Him.
Your excuses wonโ€™t matter.
Your schedule wonโ€™t save you.
Your โ€œbusynessโ€ wonโ€™t matter in eternity.

Serve Him now.
Seek Him now.
Show up now.
Because a faith that is always โ€œbusyโ€
will one day be a faith that is completely gone.

Novena to the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary
Solemnity Day (December 8)

O God, who by the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, did prepare a worthy dwelling place for your Son, we beseech you, that as by the foreseen death of this, Your Son, You did preserve Her from all stain, so too You would permit us, purified through Her intercession to come unto you. We ask this through the same Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, world without end. Amen.
