Valentine's Day Party Combine Activity | February 14, 2025 | 4-7PM
Happy Valentine’s Day!💕
While this day is often filled with chocolates and heart-shaped cards, it also serves as a beautiful reminder of what truly matters in a relationship. Tanay Ward youth have discovered that dating is meant to be purposeful and uplifting, even if it isn't always easy to navigate. They have learned that knowing the difference between a "green flag" and a "red flag" isn't just about finding a match; it’s about protecting their hearts and maintaining their standards. They realize that true love isn't blind; rather, it is visionary and requires a discerning heart to see if a person’s actions align with their faith.
These young men and women understand that timing is everything, and they follow the inspired counsel to wait until they are at least 16 to start dating. They recognize that this isn't just a random rule, but a way to give themselves the space to grow, gain confidence, and build a firm foundation in the gospel before adding the complexity of a romantic relationship. By doing things the "right way"—focusing on group activities and wholesome environments—they ensure that their interactions remain high-standard and centered on genuine friendship.
As they celebrate today, they keep their eyes open for those who radiate the Light of Christ. They have come to understand that true love is more than just a fleeting feeling; it is a commitment to helping one another stay on the covenant path. Whether they are currently dating or waiting for the right season, they keep their standards high and their hearts focused on the Savior. They know they don't have to settle for anything less than a relationship that brings them closer to Him and reflects their divine worth as children of God.🤍
