“Be still, and know that I am God.”
– Psalm 46:10

When I feel worried about my future and the things I cannot control, I remind myself that God is in control.

Being still does not mean giving up. It means trusting God's plan and His perfect timing. Even when I do not understand everything that is happening, I know that God is guiding me.

God is in control. I will trust Him, wait patiently, and keep walking by faith. 🙏🏻

‎Psalm 69 shows us that life must go on. In the opening verses, David offers a prayer for salvation. He seems lost and unable to feel the presence of God, with his throat parched and his eyes weary from searching.

‎Just like David, we have all experienced moments like this—a season when it feels as though no one can comfort us, no matter how much we seek it. Yet despite what the flesh may make us feel, David remained steadfast in his faith in God. He understood that he must endure and continue in prayer, trusting that in God's perfect time and through His great love, He would answer with sure salvation. In the end, his suffering turned into thanksgiving.

‎This is a reminder that as we continue to praise and worship our Lord Jesus Christ, all things will come according to His perfect time and season. Then we will rejoice in His sure salvation and experience the greatness of His love.

There are times in our life when we seek the approval of men rather than the approval of God. We tend to please the world for what it wants, for what is trending, and for what is the majority. Therefore, we were not born in this world to please men, but to serve and glorify the Name of the Lord. It is only God whom shall we serve, praise, and seek for His approval — nothing else.
