This feast commemorates the belief that in her childhood, Mary was presented by her parents, Sts. Anne and Joachim, to God in the Temple at Jerusalem-a prefiguration of her total dedication and willingness to serve His will. While not written in the Scriptures, this story does come from a very early writing and expresses Mary's lifelong openness to God's Word.

It begun in the East in the 6th century, when the Basilica of Saint Mary the New, built near the ruins of the Jerusalem Temple, was dedicated; and then it reached the West in the 9th century. It came to be included in the Roman Missal in the 15th century.

Today is also marked as the World Day of Cloistered Life - a day when we remember and pray for those in contemplative communities, who sustain the Church through their hidden prayer and sacrifice.

Ka-Amoris! Today is the feast of the Archbasilica of St. John Lateran, Mother Church of all churches in the world. Built by Emperor Constantine, then dedicated by Pope Sylvester I, this sacred basilica stands as a timeless witness to faith, unity, and the enduring presence of God in His Church.

After centuries of destruction and renewal, the Lateran Basilica reminds us that it is not with stone and marble that the true Church exists, but in a living community of believers, rebuilt and renewed in Christ's love.

𝙈𝙀𝙈𝙀𝙉𝙏𝙊 𝙈𝙊𝙍𝙄 - 𝙍𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧,𝙇𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙙 𝘽𝙚𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙂𝙧𝙖𝙫𝙚

Ka-Amoris! On this day as we celebrate "All Souls Day", let us take a moment to pray for our faithful departed and commend them to the tender care of our Mother Mary, who leads every soul closer to Jesus.

It is not the end, but an embrace into God's eternal love. Let us live in hope, pray with compassion, and remember that heaven is our true home. As St. Maria Maravillas de Jesus "“Death is more than falling blindly into the arms of God.”

Ka-Amoris! Today, we honor of mother Mary's title and a well known devotion among the Carmelite family to the blessed mother, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, a symbol of divine protection, maternal care, and our call to trust in God's promises. She invites us to wear the scapular not as a mere token, but as a commitment to follow Christ faithfully, through prayer and penance.

Ka-Amoris! Today, we honor Saint Peter, the rock upon whom Christ built His Church, and Saint Paul, the tireless missionary who brought the Gospel to the nations. Though different in mission, they were united in their love for Christ and their bold witness to the truth — even unto death.

May their courage, zeal, and fidelity inspire us to stand firm in faith, proclaim Christ boldly, and love the Church with all our hearts.

Inspired by the words of Pope Pius IX, we , the devotees and lover of this icon, takes up the call to spread devotion to Our Mother of Perpetual Help — a mission entrusted to the Redemptorists and now to us.

In a world longing for mercy, comfort, and grace, may we be bearers of the image of the mother who caress and intercedes— in every home, every heart, and every soul of believers and even the non-believers .

Ka-Amoris! Corpus Christi (Latin for “Body of Christ”) is a celebration of Jesus’ Real Presence in the Holy Eucharist: Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity. Instituted in the 13th century, this feast invites us to honor, adore, and proclaim the great mystery of our faith: that Christ remains truly present among us in the Blessed Sacrament.

📅 Traditionally celebrated on the Thursday after Trinity Sunday (or the following Sunday), Corpus Christi reminds the faithful that the Eucharist is not a symbol—but a Person. It is Jesus Himself.

In the silence of Adoration, like Mary at the foot of the Cross, we learn to simply be present— ready to love and to listen. We don’t need to be perfect; we only need to come. In a world full of noise, Jesus waits in silence. Let us, like Mary, draw close to Him in the Eucharist—kneeling in faith, adoring in love, and allowing His grace to transform us.

Ka-Amoris! Pope Pius IX gives the Redemptorist missionaries mission to make the blessed mother be known by all when he entrusted to them the miraculous icon of Our Mother of Perpetual Help in 1866.

With mission 𝙁𝙖𝙘 𝙚𝙖𝙢 𝙘𝙤𝙜𝙣𝙤𝙨𝙘𝙞 (𝙈𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬𝙣) , the Redemptorists carried not just a sacred image, but a call to bring the faithful closer to Jesus through His Mother.

In the icon, Mary’s gaze meets ours—full of tenderness and strength. Jesus clings to her tightly, His little sandal falling off, reminding us that even the Son of God found comfort in His Mother.

Through wars, struggles, and modern noise, this mission remains:
“𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙝𝙚𝙧. 𝙎𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙛𝙖𝙞𝙡 𝙮𝙤𝙪.”

As we prepare ourselves for the feast of our blessed mother under the title of our mother of perpetual help, let's understand the meaning behind this miraculous icon.
