San Isidro Labrador Parish used to be a chapel in Barangay San Isidro under the Sta. Teresa de Avila Parish in Poblacion, City of Talisay, Cebu with San Isidro Labrador as its Patron Saint. Nenita Deiparine and Atty. Alma Deiparine, donated the lot where it now stands. It held its ground-breaking ceremony on Feb. 1, 2006 led by then Cebu Archbishop Ricardo J. Cardinal Vidal. On March 10, 2006 a De

cree was issued
declaring San Isidro Labrador a Parish. While under construction, Rev. Fr. Carlito T. Mier, then Parochial Vicar of the Sta. Teresa de Avila Parish was appointed its Administrator. He was later appointed its first Parish Priest serving the Parish until Feb. 19, 2014. He was replaced.by Rev. Alvin H. Codilla. Rev. Alvin Codilla nitiated the renovations of the church's Sanctuary, ceiling, bldg. side canopies, facade, painting the inside and outside of the church bldg, concreting of the church grounds, installation of water catchment basins in the church grounds, On August 6, 2019, the Archdiocese reshuffled all Parish Priests, Rev. Mario Tan Villacastin was assigned as the new Parish Priest. It was during his term that he initiated the construction of the Catechetical Center and the comfortable, clean and decent rest rooms with modern facilities. San Isidro Labrador Parish is grateful to all San Isidrohanons and to all non-San Isidrohanons
who shared their time, talent and treasure to make it become what it is today. Its annual fiesta is held every 3rd Saturday of May. Viva San Isidro !!!

O Blessed St Roch, Patron of the sick, have pity on those who lie upon a bed of suffering. Your power was so great when you were in this world, that by the sign of the Cross, many were healed of their diseases.

Now that you are in heaven, your power is no less. Offer to God our sighs and tears and obtain for us the physical and spiritual health we seek: (Share your request…)
