𝗜𝗡𝗩𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗔𝗟𝗧𝗔𝗥 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗦 | 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟮𝟮

With hearts full of gratitude and joy, the Ministry of the Altar Servers of the Archdiocesan Shrine of Sta. Teresa de Avila welcomed its new members through the Investiture Ceremony.

The Holy Eucharist and the investiture were led by Msgr. Guillermo Gorre, marking a special moment for those who chose to serve at the altar. May these new altar servers continue to serve with humility, respect, and love for Christ and His Church.

𝗦𝗧𝗢. 𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗢 𝗗𝗘 𝗖𝗘𝗕𝗨 𝗣𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗘 | The Ministry of Altar Servers will be representing Sta. Teresa de Avila during the Sto. Niño de Cebu Fiesta Celebration in January.

The practice was held at the Basilica Minore del Sto. Niño de Cebu on December 22, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Several details were reviewed as blockings and run-throughs were conducted to perfect the service for the Novena Mass.

𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗟 𝗠𝗘𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 | Last December 21, 2025, the Ministry of Altar Servers of Sta. Teresa de Avila conducted a General Meeting where the upcoming changes in the Ministry were discussed, as well as the details of the Pax Tecum activity to be held on December 25–27, 2025.

Additionally, other matters were discussed, including the lanyards and IDs that will be used by the Ministry to easily identify members of the Ministry of Altar Servers of Sta. Teresa de Avila.

𝗘𝗫𝗔𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 | As we check and evaluate the Altar Servers for the next step in their journey in this Ministry, they have undergone a series of tests and evaluations through written and practical examinations last November 22, 2025—kudos and good job to everyone! ✊🤍

𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗔𝗟 | Yesterday, December 14, 2025, the Ministry of the Altar Servers renewed their commitment in their service and faith. A step in strengthening their willingness to serve with reverence, humility, and love for the Church #.

The Mass was presided by Msgr. Guillermo Gorre, H.P. during the 10:00 AM Sunday Mass. Additionally, we thank you for the support, especially to Rev. Fr. Glenn Guanzon, for his guidance and unwavering support to us.

𝗥𝗘𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗛𝗘𝗥 | Last November 22, 2025, the Ministry of the Altar Servers underwent a series of enhancement activities to deepen their knowledge of the liturgical aspects of serving.

Additionally, this served as preparation for their written and practical examinations as candidates for Junior Altar Servers.
