This Gospel reminds us that following Jesus is not always easy, but it is a journey that calls us to trust, sacrifice, and remain faithful. The passage tells us that when Peter turned his focus to the strong winds, fear rose up and his faith faltered. The Bible tells us that doubt comes when we fix our eyes on the storms around us instead of on the One who calms them. Jesus does not turn away. He reaches out immediately to hold us up. He gently reminds us that His presence is greater than any fear we may face. Even when circumstances seem overwhelming, we are called to trust Him fully. He is always near, ready to lift us up and strengthen our faith.

Last Thursday, July 16, the Biblos Sodality, together with the Knights of the Altar (KOA), joyfully visited the Carmelite Monastery in Mabolo, Cebu City to celebrate the Holy Mass in honor of the Feast of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel.
