The members of the Saint Joseph Youth Choir has always been focused on praising the Lord through their beautiful music and heavenly harmony. It has always been their duty to make it loud and clear to everybody listening to them that the Lord has come to Earth and we should be glad about it! To encourage other youth to join us praise Him and glorify His name. It is a mission that the elder members
of the group had established and a legacy for us to continue. SAINT JOSEPH YOUTH CHOIR HISTORY
In the dawn of the Saint Joseph the Worker Parish in Tabunok, Talisay City Cebu, only two Sunday masses were held. If I am not mistaken, one is in the morning and one in the evening. With this, the Saint Joseph Parish Choir and the Saint Joseph Youth Choir were born. As the church developed, more masses were established and soon there were eight Sunday masses. With this, the members of the Saint Joseph Parish Choir and Saint Joseph Youth Choir slowly dispersed and created their own choral group to accommodate the mass services. The Saint Joseph Youth Choir survived 29 years in service in Tabunok, Talisay City, and will still be developing through the effort of the honorary members of the group and the SJYC officers. At present we serve every Sunday at 5:30pm .
