Zone 3 Altar Servers, together with Zone 3 PYA, joyfully participated in 𝑷𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒈𝒕𝒊𝒈𝒖𝒎: 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒉 𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒉 𝑫𝒂𝒚𝒔 5.0 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒊𝒏𝒔𝒑𝒊𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒎𝒆: “𝑪𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕 𝒊𝒏 𝒖𝒔. 𝑯𝒐𝒑𝒆 𝑩𝒆𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒔. 𝑯𝒐𝒑𝒆 𝑹𝒆𝒋𝒐𝒊𝒄𝒆𝒔. 𝑯𝒐𝒑𝒆 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒖𝒆𝒔.” held from May 1 to May 3, 2026 at Saint Joseph Parish Church of Talakag.

This meaningful gathering brought together young people united in faith, service, and love for Christ. Through prayers, fellowship, and shared experiences, the youth were strengthened and reminded that hope remains alive in every heart that believes.

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to all our generous donors whose kindness and support made this journey possible. Your contributions, whether big or small, truly helped sustain the needs of our participants and ensured the success of this event.

Our heartfelt appreciation also goes to all the chapels of Zone 3 for supporting and sending their youth to participate in this activity. We are equally grateful to the auxiliary team for tirelessly preparing food and snacks, and to the organizing team for giving us the opportunity to be part of this meaningful event.

To the barangay councils of each chapel, thank you for providing transportation and allowing the delegates to use your vehicles back and forth. Your support truly made a difference.

To the Zone 3 SOFA and Youth Council, thank you for your leadership, guidance, and dedication in making this experience possible for everyone.

To the parents and guardians, thank you for your trust and unwavering support. And to every participant, your enthusiasm, cooperation, and active involvement made this celebration even more vibrant, joyful, and memorable.

May the friendships formed, lessons learned, and faith strengthened during these days continue to inspire each one of us to serve with humility and love.

Above all, we give thanks to God for His guidance and countless blessings throughout this activity. May the spirit of Panagtigum continue to live in our hearts as we carry on our mission with faith, unity, and hope. 💛

Meet “𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐚” 💫

Get to know our newest Parish Youth Icon of the Saint Joseph Parish Youth Apostolate of Talakag, Bukidnon - Tala!

The name “Tala” was coined from the town’s name, Talakag which also means “star” in tagalog.

Tala represents the youth of Talakag as a young woman deeply connected to the town’s cultural roots, as symbolized by her traditional Higaonon-Talaandig attire, which reflects the prominent Indigenous Peoples tribes living in the municipality. Her simplicity reflects the core values of humility and strength within the community. Tala also depicts the famous pointing hand sign by the Bukidnon Youth (BukYo) more popularly known as BukYo pose. 👉

The star, a symbol often found in biblical references, is a guiding light—a beacon of hope, faith, and divine presence. In the Bible, the Star of Bethlehem guided the wise men to the birthplace of Jesus, symbolizing guidance and illumination in times of uncertainty.

For the youth of Talakag, Tala is a reminder to shine brightly, to be a source of guidance, and to remain steadfast in their faith and values. Just as the star led the wise men to a sacred truth, the youth are called to be leaders and role models in their community, guiding others with integrity, compassion, and a commitment to serving God and others.

Tala encourages every Talakagnon youth to embody these principles and shine in their own unique ways for the greater good of the Parish and beyond.
