UPC SEMD Section 4 Youth Ministries Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. (1 Tim. 4:12 KJV)

The earth is shaking.
The signs are speaking.
The hour is getting closer.

Don’t just watch the world tremble...prepare your soul for Jesus.

For “there shall be... earthquakes, in divers places.” - Matthew 24:7

It was the darkest, most terrifying hour of the night...

The Sea of Galilee had turned into a violent, churning death trap. A massive squall was tearing the disciples' small wooden boat apart. These were hardened fishermen, yet they were rowing for their lives, exhausted and entirely out of the control.

Then, through the blinding, freezing spray, they saw the impossible.

A figure was walking on the violent, black waves as if strolling across solid pavement. The men dropped their oars and screamed in absolute terror, convinced it was a ghost coming to drag them to the deep.

But a voice sliced right through the howling wind: "Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid."

It was Jesus.

While the others cowered, Peter’s raw, impulsive adrenaline kicked in. "Lord, if it’s you," he shouted over the roar of the sea, "tell me to come to you on the water."

Jesus didn't give a speech. He just said one word: "Come."

Peter threw his leg over the side of the violently pitching boat. He let go of the wood. He stepped out into the chaotic abyss—and the water held him. He was actually doing it. He was defying the laws of nature, walking on the raging sea with his eyes locked dead on Jesus.

But halfway there, Peter made a fatal mistake. He stopped looking at the man and looked at the storm.

He felt the hurricane-force wind. He saw the monstrous waves crashing around his ankles. Suddenly, human logic violently shoved faith aside: Men don’t walk on water.

The exact second he calculated the impossible danger, gravity returned. The ocean opened up and swallowed him.

"Lord, save me!" Peter choked out, plunging into the freezing black depths.

Instantly, a hand broke the surface, clamping onto Peter’s arm with an iron grip and hauling him back up. Jesus stood with him on the pitching waves, holding his soaking, trembling friend. He didn't look angry; his voice was calm and piercing against the storm.

"You of little faith," Jesus said. "Why did you doubt?"

𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿.

You may be tired.
You may be wounded.
But the fact that you are still here is proof that God has kept you through the battle.

For “Having done all, to stand, stand therefore.” Ephesians 6:13-14

“Still standing is proof you haven’t lost the fight.”

As long as you are standing in faith, victory is still possible.

𝗗𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝘁 𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲.

Hardship wants to steal your worship.
It wants to make your heart heavy and your mouth quiet.
But your hallelujah still matters, even in the middle of your struggle.

For “Yet will I rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.” Habakkuk 3:18

“Don’t let hardship steal your hallelujah.”

Praise is powerful when it survives pain.

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗵𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂.

You were placed in this generation on purpose.
God knew the time,
the pressure,
the darkness,
and still chose to place you here.
That means your life carries assignment.

For “And who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” — Esther 4:14

“You were born in this time for a reason.”

Do not waste the time God trusted you with.
