On April 3, 2026 our ward family had the blessing of visiting the Davao Philippines Temple. Being together in such a sacred place filled our hearts with peace, reflection, and gratitude for the Savior’s love and sacrifice.

This Holy Week reminded us of the power of faith, unity, and gratitude. Being together as a ward family strengthened our hearts and deepened our commitment to follow Christ’s example of love and service. 🤍

Relief Society 5th Ward 184th Anniversary

Strengthening Unity Through Shared Effort

For Part 2 of the celebration, the sisters gathered at Sison Chapel where they were divided into three groups and worked together in preparing food. Each group cooked different dishes—lumpia, ginataang balanghoy, and nilupak nga saging.

More than the cooking itself, the activity highlighted teamwork, cooperation, and unity among the sisters. As they shared tasks, laughter, and conversations, stronger bonds were formed and relationships were deepened.

This part of the celebration emphasized that unity grows when individuals come together with a common purpose. Through simple efforts and shared experiences, the sisters were able to feel the joy of working as one, strengthening their love and support for each other as part of the Relief Society. ❤

Relief Society 5th Ward Celebrates 184th Anniversary Through Service

On March 21, 2026 Part 1 of the Relief Society 5th Ward’s 184th anniversary celebration was meaningfully observed through service. The sisters visited a Home for the Aged, where they conducted a short program filled with messages of love and hope that brought smiles to the residents.

They also shared simple food, offered with sincere hearts. More than what they gave, the sisters themselves felt joy and gratitude for the opportunity to serve the elderly, knowing that even small acts of kindness can make a difference.

This activity was made more special with the help and support of the 1st Counselor of the Bishopric, Bro. Aaron Balili, whose efforts contributed to the success of the service.

The experience became a beautiful reminder that service not only uplifts others but also fills the heart with happiness and purpose. Truly, it was a day of love, unity, and Christlike service—one that will be remembered as they continue their legacy of faith and compassion. ❤

Earlier today, March 16, 2025. We watched a beautiful Relief Society devotional that focused on Christ’s love for women and the unique role we play in His plan. The messages reminded us of our divine worth, strength, and the power we have to follow His example in our daily lives.

As women of faith, we shared our testimonies afterward, feeling united in our desire to serve others and grow closer to Christ. It was a meaningful experience that deepened our understanding of how Relief Society empowers us to live His teachings and share His love.
