“There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus…”

Satan is the accuser of the brethren. Satan is your accuser. Every mistake you've made in the past, alam niya po ito, and he keeps on reminding you about them.

You can know if he is successful with the way you respond. Kapag ang response mo po ay paglayo sa Panginoon, because you think that God will not be able to forgive you anymore.

Dahil sa paglayo mo sa Panginoon, you end up na lumalayo na din sa fellowship. Satan is successful in convicting you of your sin that you are distancing yourself from the brethren. Jesus bought the church with His blood and we must reflect our unity as One Body in Christ. This is how the world will know that we are of Christ: our genuine love for one another. Love entails being present. Church is essential.

Kapatid, the antidote to guilt is by Trusting God Completely. Trust what He said in 1 John 1:9 - "Subalit kung ipinapahayag natin ang ating mga kasalanan, patatawarin tayo ng Diyos sa mga ito, at lilinisin tayo sa lahat ng ating kasalanan, sapagkat siya'y tapat at matuwid."

As I close, I'd like you to imagine this scenario. Satan accuses you of your sins in front of God, tapos may quote pa cya from the Holy Bible, "the wages of sin is death". This person must die dahil sa kasalanan nya. But then, God, the righteous judge, will tell Satan this, "The judgment has been done, death has already occurred. Dahil ang taong ito ay namatay na kay Kristo" (Galatians 2:20).

Kapatid, DO NOT let your sins in the past keep you from God or keep you from being with the body of Christ.

Have a good and godly day!

In Christ,
Pastor Macquil

Our obedience to the Great Commission requires complete submission to Jesus Christ. Why? Because the gospel is unpopular in this world. Remember when you first heard the gospel? Like me, you have ignored it because it contradicts the lifestyle you've always wanted: self-pleasure.

In the past, believers of Jesus Christ are even martyred because of the gospel. Obeying the Great Commission entails a readiness to make a great sacrifice and give your life for the gospel's sake.

In our generation, some may not view this as severe due to the religious freedom in their country. However, persecution, torture, and death still exist for those who share the gospel because it is prohibited in their place.

Jesus' words in Matthew 28:20 are my source of encouragement. There will be situations where you may feel alone. When you stand for God, the people you thought would be there for you are silent and distant. Which is why it is best to trust in GOD alone. Why? The God of all gods, the King of all kings, the Creator of the universe, and the Savior of all said, "I am with you always."

Go, share the gospel, and make disciples of all nations.

Trust God Completely!

How do you deal with a situation where someone wants to harm you even though you haven't done anything wrong to them?

Psalm 18 has an answer to that.

Oh, what a wonderful psalm with truth that is an excellent source of encouragement. The path of life mentioned here differs from the one we commonly hear. The “path of life” is often mistaken for the “ ” culture.

The “life” that the psalmist is talking about here is not about how life should be, but more about WHAT life is all about. God is the author of life, so He is the only one who can show us the way to life. We can try finding meaning through what this world can offer: material things, career progression, power, fame, etc., but everything will fall short. There will always be that space in your heart that will never be filled.

Praise God that even if we offended Him in every way possible, He still chose to reveal what LIFE is. He offered forgiveness and salvation through Jesus Christ ALONE. If you haven’t yet, REPENT from all your sins, turn your back to them, and surrender your life to Jesus as your Lord and Savior. If you do so, God will fill you with joy because of His presence and not based on circumstance.

Soli Deo Gloria!

Have you ever considered if you'll be in God’s presence when all is said and done? This question is not just crucial but deeply personal. Yet, many of us tend to set it aside, perhaps because we believe there are more pressing matters or simply because we don’t have the answer. If you were to ask around, you might hear some say that when all is said and done, all they have is the “HOPE” that they will deserve heaven because they are not that bad compared to others. They tried to help the needy and always considered doing good in everything they did.

Consider this: if we can all set the standard, perhaps most of us deserve a spot in God’s kingdom. However, the reality is that it is never about how we think or feel is fair. The kingdom belongs to God, and He sets the standards. What is God’s standard? If you read verses 2 and 3, God set the standard that if we summarize in one word, it is “perfection.” Are you perfect? Have you ALWAYS walked with Integrity? Have you ALWAYS practiced righteousness? If you are a human being like the rest of us, you will not pass God’s standard.

The good news is that God knows and understands this truth. None of us will be able to meet His standards. This is why God, in His great mercy and amazing grace, sent His ONLY begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to be with us and live just like us so He could die on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. He rose again on the third day so that those who put their faith in Him will live with Him for all eternity.

In closing, let me quote John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life.” Turn your back on your sins and believe in Jesus by surrendering your life to Him as your Savior and Lord. Only through this, according to God’s word, will you be in the presence of God someday when all is said and done.

If you already did, if you say you are in Christ already, then live your life with gratitude because of the great gift that God has given you. Live for His glory and honor ALONE.

Soli Deo Gloria!

There is one truth that applies to all and offends all. Would you happen to know what that is? You are guilty of sin; all of us are. When confronted with this truth, no matter how offended you are, you cannot come up with an answer that will clear you from this. The best answer that anyone can come up with, at least, is that when compared to others, they are okay.

Paul quoted this truth in Romans 3:23: " For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." What Paul said here renders our best answer useless because our goodness is not measured based on other people but on God's glory. Reading further into the book of Romans, you will see the price you must pay because of sin: death, eternal separation from the presence of God (Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord)

This truth may be hard to accept; you may try to deny it, but it remains true. You and I are guilty, judged by God's standard. However, Paul also shared the solution, the most powerful conjunction 'but' in verse above, which reveals God's incredible grace, the gift of eternal life through Christ Jesus.

Repent, turn your back on your sins, and surrender your life to Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord. Live for Christ, for God's glory and honor alone.

Have you ever found yourself in a situation where all hope seems to have disappeared? And to increase the pain, do you also feel that God is distant? Amid your plea for help and tears drying down, all you receive is silence. I, too, have felt this way, and I understand the depth of your pain.

Reading the first few verses of Psalm 13, you will notice that the psalmist experienced the same thing, too:

"1 How long, O Lord? Will you forget me forever?
How long will you hide your face from me?
2 How long must I take counsel in my soul
and have sorrow in my heart all the day?
How long shall my enemy be exalted over me?"

Is there any reason to rejoice in this situation? Oh, yes, indeed! The psalmist demonstrates that the way this could happen is to rejoice in his salvation, representing God's steadfast love and everlasting mercy.

This truth should remind us that we all need salvation to experience the same rejoicing. How? Repent by turning your back from all your sins and surrender your life to Jesus as your Saviour and Lord. If you already did and are in the same boat as the psalmist, look unto Jesus (Hebrews 12:2) and REJOICE AMID THE STORM!

What do you do when you become a victim of lying lips? What do I mean by this? Dishonest people cause you pain in at least two main ways.

First, their lies cause others to think of you differently, resulting in two versions of you from the world's perspective: the real you and the one others don't appreciate because of the slanderous or malicious words others say about you. This is tolerable compared to the next one.

Second, their lies cause deception, and instead of being a good friend (even a good neighbor), they manipulate you to their advantage. When you learn about this, oh, how heartbreaking it is. In this situation, you are tempted to retaliate, to do something to get even.

Psalm 12:5 teaches us an excellent way to deal with these. We have to come to God ALONE for our rescue. We have to ask and wait for "the safety for which we long." God sees how devastated we are in these moments and will rescue us in His perfect time. Oh, what an experience of God's grace, and in this, God is glorified.

God bless you.

In this world, challenging situations are expected (John 16:33). When you stand on the truth of God's word, you are expected to face opposition. In our generation, you may face the threat of being canceled out.

How do we remain calm amid the storm? How do we have that peace from God when we have opposition in every way? How do we deal with it when you are threatened with being canceled?

The secret is what the Psalmist says in Psalm 11:7: Look beyond what this world can offer and look unto God.

Remember that all challenging situations are temporary compared to an eternal life with God where there will be no more night, no more pain, no more tears, and never crying again. We will be privileged to see our God, the great I AM.
