“𝗜 𝗮𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗱. 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱.” — 𝗟𝘂𝗸𝗲 𝟭:𝟯𝟴

Mary’s “yes” was not a promise of an easy life. She said yes without knowing every detail of what was ahead. She simply trusted that God’s plan was greater than her fears.

Sometimes, God asks us to step into something we do not fully understand. Like Mary, we may feel afraid or unprepared. But faith means trusting Him even when we cannot see the whole path.

“𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗮, 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗮, 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝘅𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀.” — 𝗟𝘂𝗸𝗲 𝟭𝟬:𝟰𝟭

Like Martha, we can become so busy doing things for everyone that we forget to simply 𝗯𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀.

There will always be responsibilities, deadlines, and things waiting to be done. But Jesus reminds us that beyond everything we accomplish, what matters most is making time to listen to Him and rest in His presence.

𝐌𝐄𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐀𝐋 𝐎𝐅 𝐒𝐓. 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐀 𝐅𝐀𝐔𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐀 𝐊𝐎𝐖𝐀𝐋𝐒𝐊𝐀, 𝐕𝐢𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐧

Prayer:

O Jesus, You inspired Saint Faustina with profound veneration for Your boundless Mercy. Grant me through her intercession, if it be Your holy will, the grace (mention your prayer request), for which I fervently pray.

My sins render me unworthy of Your Mercy, but be mindful of Saint Faustina's spirit of sacrifice and self-denial, and reward her virtue by granting the petition which, with childlike confidence, I present to You through her intercession. Amen.

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be.
