A heartfelt and grateful thanks to Ms. Naiman Lazada of Pilipinas Shell Foundation, Engr. Rey Labajo (Shell Tagbilaran Terminal Manager), Miguel Tombaga, and Jeffrey Panganiban of Shell Pilipinas for generously donating 10 container barrels for our Barangay Cogon, Purok-7 residents.

Kini nga mga barrels gamiton para sa household composting, ilabi na sa mga balay nga walay backyard β€” aron ang kitchen waste ug uban pang biodegradable materials mahimo nang compost instead nga ilabay. Dako kaayo ni nga tabang sa pagminus sa basura, pagpalambo sa waste segregation, ug paghimo og organic fertilizer nga pwede gamiton sa mga tanom ug urban gardens. Makabenepisyo dili lang ang matag pamilya, kundi ang tibuok barangay pinaagi sa mas limpyo nga palibot ug mas sustainable nga komunidad. 🌱

Dako usab among pasalamat sa Barangay Cogon Solid Waste Management Team nga gipangulohan ni Kagawad Jerome M. Dacullo, Chairman sa Committee on Environmental Protection, uban ni Vice Chairman Kagawad Haidee Ingking, ug sa among very kugihan ug supportive Kapitan Geneson Balbin, kauban ang tanang Barangay staff Mercy Abucay, Joseph Baldapan, Jovane Gonato, Manolo Bueno ug Joel Vinoya nga mitabang sa pagpanghakot ug pag-implement niini nga proyekto.

First meeting this January with the Barangay Cogon Purok-7 officers, headed by President Marigel B. Bumotad, together with the turnover of the Solar Street Light nga gihatag sa Barangay Cogon under the leadership of Punong Barangay Kap. Geneson Balbin, in coordination with the Purok-7 Kagawad-in-Charge, Kagawad Jerome Maniwang Dacullo

Kini nga solar street light was requested by the whole community kay usa gyud ni sa major concerns sa Purok-7 ang ngit-ngit nga palibot.
