Day 1 of DVBS 2024: Jesus, You're my Superhero
Even though it was raining, the children were excited to gather and experience Jesus. There were many firsts today: the first day of DVBS, the first DVBS for the community, and first-time teachers. We praise God for all of this and give glory to Him alone.

We're grateful for the way God moved in everyone's hearts yesterday. It was a gathering mainly of young people, majority of them teenagers. unfortunately, some were unable to join. We saw that God has touched their hearts, and we trust that His beautiful purpose for their lives will prevail. It's a privilege to walk alongside them in their journey with Christ and witness them growing in their identity in Christ, as lovers of Jesus, as well as sons and daughters of the Most High. Though we won't go into specific details, it's humbling to witness lives being transformed for God's glory. We shared the message of the cross and its significance, ministered to them, enjoyed meals together, and had fun with karaoke and kalingga coffee.

Maundy Thursday Special
Today was a special gathering for moms and their husbands. We came together and watch the message of the cross, the crucifixion of Jesus and its significance to us. We talked about sin, repentance and faith in Jesus. Unfortunately, 8 people couldn't join us due to sickness and personal reasons, but we were glad to welcome 4 new individuals, mostly husbands, and one new couple. Also, it was their first time participating in communion, and they understood its importance beyond just another religious ritual. Although we can't describe every detail, the experience was powerful, and we felt honored to witness lives being transformed.. We're thankful for the privilege of journeying with them in their walk with Christ. Thank you, Lord, for what you did on the cross and for bringing this family, couples, and moms together today. We're honored to partner with your heart for these few. ❤️❤️❤️ Tomorrow is another day 🙏🙏🙏The Lord has been bringing in not only moms but also fathers and their children. Please be praying as the enemy targets the family, but God loves families so much. Pray for tomorrow; we will be gathering with the teenagers and youth, who are their sons and daughters. Many are not first-timers, but some are.

Celebrating our Family Day 2024! Grateful to God for this community of families, where God's goodness is manifested. We are thankful to God that they became our family here in Bohol. God is worthy for every family and nation ❤️

Last Wednesday, we talked about loving God. Taking time to be quiet before the Lord to hear His voice and His heartbeat. We also talked about studying His word for themselves, and not being dependent on others' interpretation at all times. Yes, they may hear us teach and preach, but the goal is that they can hear the Lord themselves, love Him with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength.

When we love God with our all - that’s the time we can love other people, including ourselves, our husband, children, and the rest. After that, we prayed together and ate together. What a humbling privilege. Jesus is worthy of all.

Yesterday, at our kids' church community ❤️, we were reminded that there's no such thing as a junior Holy Spirit. This means that the same powerful God who raised Jesus from the dead isn't only available to adult followers of Jesus, but to children too. The Holy Spirit dwells in them when they have a relationship with Jesus. This Spirit has the power to transform not just their lives but also the lives of others through them. It's humbling and inspiring to see the Holy Spirit at work in and through these children as we raise these next generation lovers of Jesus. ❤️❤️❤️

We talked about the woman who had been bleeding for 12 years and how she received healing and shared about Jesus. The children were incredibly attentive. Before we finished our session, we invited those who were sick and needed healing to come forward. Surprisingly, many of them did. Then, the children behind them laid their hands on them too. I've been hearing some of them rebuking sickness and declaring healing. It's amazing to see how the Holy Spirit is working through them. Glory to God.

Luke 18:15-17 16 But Jesus called the children to him and said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. 17 Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”

We're excited about what God has in store for these women in the community, they're the moms in their families. What would it look like if they are lovers of Jesus, influencing their own families and community for Christ?
