But jokes aside, your victories teach us something bigger than just passing a board exam:

Success is not just always about being the smartest person in the room. Sometimes, it is simply having the courage to keep showing up even when you're tired, scared, and unsure of yourself.

There were probably days when you doubted yourselves. Days when the lessons felt too much, the pressure felt too heavy, and the finish line seemed so far away. But you kept going. You prayed. You studied. You tried again. And most importantly, you trusted God even when you couldn't see the outcome yet.

The people of Barangay Bigbiga gathered in faith and unity for a Thanksgiving Mass held last Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 9:00 AM at the Multipurpose Hall, in celebration of the barangay’s Annual Fiesta and the Patronal Feast of the Holy Cross.

Despite the ongoing national energy conservation measures, the community observed the occasion in a simple yet meaningful celebration, reflecting both responsibility and devotion. The Holy Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Alexander Jo B. Peralta, and organized through the efforts of the Barangay Pastoral Council led by Sis. Grace Ordinario, together with the Barangay Youth Ministry of Bigbiga headed by Bro. John Lloyd O. Estrada.

Community members gathered in solemn reflection and gratitude, joined by the Sangguniang Kabataan officials led by Hon. Charmaine M. Ordonio, along with other barangay officials. The celebration highlighted not only thanksgiving but also the enduring unity, faith, and resilience of the people of Bigbiga.

In simplicity, the spirit of Bigbiga shines even stronger—grounded in faith, united in purpose, and steadfast in moving forward together.

For our Lenten Youth Camp's 3rd year, we are diving deep into the "Interior Mission" called for by Pope Leo XIV, creating a space where faith meets the reality of our daily struggles as we ponder on our general theme: “𝙃𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙨 𝙢𝙮 𝙨𝙤𝙪𝙡.” — 𝙋𝙨𝙖𝙡𝙢 23:3

Join us for three days of encounter, fellowship, and grace. Don’t walk the valley alone. Tag a friend you want to bring with you! It is time to stop surviving and start being restored. Remember: "It is not us who will be glorified, but God."
