In every season of life—through moments of quiet joy, deep sorrow, and steadfast hope—we are never walking alone. As we celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary, we are reminded that October is a special invitation to deepen our prayer life. Let us commit to praying the Rosary every single day throughout this entire month, meditating on the mysteries of Christ bead by bead. Through the gentle intercession of our Blessed Mother, may our heavy hearts find rest, our homes find peace, and our faith be renewed all month long.

With hearts filled with faith and gratitude, the Religious Youth Groups of Don Bosco Pampanga gathers to accompany our beloved “IMA,” Mary, Help of Christians, as she begins her temporary journey from Don Bosco Mabalacat to Don Bosco Bacolor. A cherished symbol of hope, protection, and resilience, “IMA” has been part of our Salesian family through the years, bringing comfort and strength to many Bosconians and their families.

As she visits our brothers and sisters in Bacolor, may her presence continue to inspire faith, unity, and hope. May Mary, Help of Christians, guide and protect our Salesian family and always lead us closer to her Son, Jesus.

"In the eye of the storm, faith does not sink—it anchors."

In October 1995, when massive lahar flows swept through the campus of Don Bosco Academy Bacolor, the world below was buried under gray ash and mud. Yet, amid the destruction, grace prevailed. The sacred image of our beloved "Ima"—Mary, Help of Christians—was heroically rescued from the rushing chaos, emerging completely untouched, with not a single piece damaged nor a strand of her hair lost.

Though her home today stands at Don Bosco Academy Mabalacat, her heart remains tied to the grounds where her story of resilience began. Every October, Ima embarks on her annual Traslacion back home to Bacolor—a quiet, powerful reminder that no matter how deep the mud or how dark the storm, hope always finds its way back to us.

As the month of October begins, the 𝐃𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐨𝐬𝐜𝐨 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐭 community comes together in prayer, entrusting the entire month to 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒚, 𝑯𝒆𝒍𝒑 𝒐𝒇 𝑪𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒂𝒏𝒔, through the 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐲 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲.

Today, we gathered as one 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 to pray, reflect, and walk with Mary as we contemplate the life of Jesus through the mysteries of the Rosary.

May this month be a time to 𝐝𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡, bring our hopes and intentions to God, and allow Mary to lead us closer to her Son.

DBA-Mabalacat Launches the Diamond Jubilee of Salesian Presence

The Educative Pastoral Community (EPC) of Don Bosco Academy Mabalacat gathered for a Holy Mass on September 15 to celebrate three milestones: the Memorial of Our Lady of Sorrows, the local launch of the 75th Anniversary of Salesian Presence in the Philippines (1951–2026), and the opening of Intramurals 2026.

The central highlight of the liturgy was the symbolic mixing of soil from Don Bosco Tarlac—the historic first presence of the Salesian Philippine North Province (FIN)—with the ground of Don Bosco Mabalacat. This gesture signifies the continuous flow of our heritage, linking the roots of the Salesian mission to where it flourishes today.

In his homily, Fr. Ulysses Rimbawa, SDB, Rector of DBA, reminded the community of the three core values that encapsulate this milestone: Compassion, Excellence, and Mission.

May these celebrations enkindle the fire within and rekindle the Salesian passion in the heart of every Bosconian.
