“He can make up the difference. He always does.”
I woke up this morning feeling grateful for so many who are doing so much.
Those in school who are feeling the pressures of year end testing, sporting competitions and try outs, performances and recitals.
Those who are supporting them – financially and emotionally.
Mothers – trying to do all the things all the time. and often feeling like they’re not measuring up. Running on fumes and Diet Coke.
Fathers – trying to support and provide for busy children and wives, balancing it all.
Our missionaries – answering the call from a prophet in unprecedented numbers. Submitting mission papers and submitting their will to God. Leaving the comfort of home because they love God and they love others.
Grandparents – trying their best to love and support children and grandchildren – some near and some far away.
I am inspired and grateful for Christlike disciples who cross my path every day – I know they are crossing yours as well.
Let’s assume the best. Remembering that mortality is doing its work with each of us. Refining in the fire.
Take a deep breath, smile and be patient – with yourself and others. Remembering that God does not require perfection, but rather a willing and obedient heart.
He can make up the difference. He always does.
