Saint Michael the Archangel Parish of Macrohon, Southern Leyte, Region 8, Philippines, is one of the oldest parishes of the Diocese of Maasin. Located in a town of 30 barangays, the Parish is a mother parish to two younger parishes: Mary Mediatrix of all Grace Parish in Barangay Ichon and San Roque Parish in Barangay San Roque. Being an old Parish, its Parish Church is now undergoing major repairs/renovation after the devastation of Super Typhoon Odette that damaged the greater portion of its roofing and ceiling, and the all-weather exposure of its facade and bell tower fronting the seas of which the salty moisture made its way already to the inner steel bars, posing dangers to the public with the falling debris. The completion of these major construction jobs definitely depends upon the generousity of the Parishioners and the benevolent individuals, willing to share their blessings and never afraid of being drained if they do... people who believe in the infinite grace of God who shall never leave one's cup empty but instead overflowing... and our hearts are beyond grateful to the family of MRS. LILIOSA SAAVEDRA PALUGOD and RET. GEN. W***Y PALUGOD, our FIESTA HERMANO MAYOR 2023, who also willingly responded to the call of financing the renovation of our PARISH CHURCH CEILING in the amount of P1.3M🙏🏻👏👏👏 DAGHANG SALAMAT!!! may your generosity be emulated and rewarded with God's infinite grace😍🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

The Parish Convent and Sacristy Renovation has started last July ,2020. This project is actually the Phase 2 following after the Construction of the Devotion Room and the Renovation of a Portion of the Convent. After 2 months of construction, the cash donations from individuals keep on coming to sustain the weekly needs for labor expenses. For the construction materials, however, local businessmen pledged to provide and "payable when able"... since the COVID19 PANDEMIC will limit our activities and expenses for our upcoming Fiesta Celebration, kay dili man ta makapangimbitar ug maka kumbira ug daghan, we take this oppotunity to call on our dear Parishioners to be with us in achieving this dream... BE ONE OF OUR FIESTA PROJECT SPONSORS 2020! As a token of gratitude, all those who can give P10,000.00 -up will be given an image of our Patron, Saint Michael the Archangel, and will be duly acknowledged during the fiesta celebration. The total amount pledged can be given partially to give ample time for the sponsor who may opt to give monthly or one-time until December, 2020. 8:00am - Ang atong Parish Pastor mosuroy sa tibook parokya para sa pagpanalangin sa mga lukay. Giawhag ang mga representative sa pamilya (1 lamang matag panimalay) sa pagdala sa mga lukay diha gawas sa ilang mga panimalay para sa pagpanalangin niini.
