The OLMHR-PYC mourns the sudden demise of our
beloved Youth Minister and Treasurer. Your dedication and Service to the Youth and the Church will always be remembered.

He passed away earlier today, December 31, 2025. Let us remember him for his dedication and selfless service to the Youth and the Church. Even in the simplest ways, he served with humility, quiet strength, and a sincere love for God and His people. His presence may have been gentle, but his commitment left a lasting impact on the community he faithfully served. May his life continue to inspire us to serve with the same faith, simplicity, and devotion.

Eternal Rest grant unto Kuya Melchor, O Lord, and may your perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen.

CANDELARIA is a holy feast day that occurs 40 days after Christmas on February 2nd and ostensibly commemorates the presentation of Jesus to the Temple as told in the Gospel of Luke (where there are sacrifices and Simeon tells Mary: A sword will pierce your heart too) concluding the indulgent Christmas and Epiphany season.
