Sunday mornings are always a blessing.

I had the privilege of driving up to Tinaplan to pick up the majority of our Salt and Light Scholars who are studying at Tinaplan Integrated School. Together we traveled into town to worship alongside our other scholars at Four Square Church.

After the service, we picked up Jollibee takeout and headed back to Tinaplan, where we enjoyed lunch together at the girls’ scholars’ bunkhouse. These simple moments of worship, fellowship, and sharing a meal together are some of the greatest blessings of ministry. We are grateful for the opportunity to invest in the lives of these young people as they continue to grow in both their education and their faith.

This past Thursday, we had the blessing of visiting our two Salt and Light Scholars at Lawagen Junior High School. We also treated our scholars and the school’s three Junior High teachers to lunch from Jollibee, and it was a wonderful time of fellowship as we enjoyed the meal together.

These visits are always a reminder that ministry is about more than providing scholarships—it’s about building relationships, encouraging one another, and walking alongside these young people as they pursue their education.

Please join us in praying that God will open the door for us to welcome two additional scholars from Lawagen Junior High School into the Salt and Light Scholarship Program in the future.

The Head Teacher of Titik Elementary School asked if I could bring a load of books and other things for the school since I was going there to visit our Salt and Light Scholars and to have lunch with the scholars and teachers….

Sunday was a blessing as we worshiped together at the Victory Sindangan Gathering with some of our Salt and Light Scholars and House Parents. There is nothing quite like gathering with fellow believers to grow in faith, encourage one another, and be reminded that God is always with us. We are grateful for the opportunity to invest not only in the education of our scholars but also in their spiritual growth.

This past Friday, we had the privilege of visiting our five Salt and Light Scholars at Titik Elementary School and Junior High School. It was an honor to help deliver Department of Education textbooks using the ministry truck that Victory Fellowship Church generously provided for us several years ago. What a blessing to see that gift continues to serve the students and communities in the mountains.

After spending time encouraging the students, we enjoyed lunch and fellowship with our scholars and the dedicated teachers. We are so thankful for the opportunity to invest in these young lives and to partner with those who faithfully serve them every day.

“Let us not grow weary of doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9

A little trip down memory lane!

Eight years ago, on June 17, 2018, we visited Benigno Aquino Elementary School in Campo Dos. Looking back at these photos is a reminder of how God has been at work through the years.

What’s really special is that two of our current house parents and two of our current Salt and Light Scholars are in these pictures!

It’s amazing to see how much they have grown and how God continues to write their stories. ❤️

Moments like these remind us that ministry is about planting seeds, trusting God with the growth, and watching lives be transformed over time. What a blessing it is to see the next generation stepping up to serve! To God be all the glory! ❤️🙏

This morning we had the privilege of worshiping at the Tribal Gospel Church in Sitio Kaliwit, Barangay Tinaplan.

Joining me were two of our house parents, several of our Salt and Light Scholars who are studying in Tinaplan, and one of our scholars who studies in Centro. She is the pastor’s daughter and the sister of our former house parent, who is now the newest member of the local Salt and Light Board.

It is always a blessing to see how God continues to work through families and raise up the next generation of leaders. We are thankful for the opportunity to come alongside these young people as they grow in their faith and education. God is good! 🇵🇭 🙏🏻
