Last May 8โ10, 2026, 30 young people proudly represented Cagdianao Chapel during the Parish Summer Youth Camp 2026 held at Saint Peter Claver, Claver, Surigao del Norte, with the theme:
โPeace be with you all: Towards an Unarmed and Disarming Peace.โ
It was a meaningful experience filled with faith, friendship, learning, service, and spiritual growth. More than just a camp, it became a reminder for us, the youth, to continue walking together in peace and to strengthen our relationship with God and with one another.
First and foremost, we give all thanks and glory to God, for His guidance, protection, and grace throughout the camp.
We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to the people who made this journey possible. To our CPC President, Maโam Merlinda Ladroma, and to Cagdianao Chapel, thank you for providing our mealsโbreakfast, lunch, and dinnerโand for taking care of our registration. Your kindness and support gave us the opportunity to be part of this wonderful experience.
To the Barangay Local Government Unit of Cagdianao, led by Hon. Luz U. Marianito, thank you for your generous support by providing our transportation going to Claver and back home. Your assistance made our travel safer, easier, and more convenient, allowing us to participate in this meaningful parish activity.
To our SK Chairwoman, Hon. Ranielyn Gabunada, thank you for sponsoring the T-shirts of all 30 participants. Through your generosity, we were able to represent our chapel with unity and pride.
To Engr. Cherry May Gabunada, thank you for your financial support and for helping make this camp possible.
To the parents and guardians of our youth participants, thank you for your trust, support, and encouragement. Your willingness to allow your children to join this activity became a great part of their journey of faith, service, and growth.
To all the youth who participated, thank you for your time, energy, cooperation, and willingness to serve. We also remember those who wanted to join but were not able to because of limited slots or busy schedules. Your desire to be part of this activity is truly appreciated.
May this Parish Summer Youth Camp be the beginning of a stronger, more active, and more united youth ministry in Cagdianao Chapel. May we continue to grow closer to God, remain participative in church activities, and inspire one another to serve with faith, love, and peace.
This is not the end โ this is only the beginning. โจ
Together, let us continue to serve, grow, and walk in faith as one Cagdianao youth.
